I hope so, FallenAngelII. You Swedes deserve this win. If I could vote, I'd vote for her a lot of times.
For the first time in 12 years (I've been watching the contest since 2000), I feel we deserve to win. It'd be magical to have Eurovision here in Stockholm in 2013.

FallenAngel, I agree with you totally for perhaps the first, and only time, ever! :D

As for her cough, that was terrible. If it had been the televoting final it would have been overlooked, but there's a rather considerable chance the Juries will be a huge b*tch about it, after all that's what they're there for. I still wish Sweden best luck tonight, even if neither of us win it, we're sure to be together in the top 10, no?! ;)
I dunno if the United Kingdom will make the Top 10. Not because there's anything wrong with the Hump and his entry, it's just that I feel that it's going to be battling Serbia, Italy and Spain for the same televotes. Even if they all score well with the juries, the televoters will be split among them. Let's just say that if the United Kingdom ends up outside of the Top 10, it's not because he or his song wasn't worthy enough.

The EBU should permit the use of semi-final's rehearsal or allow two jury rehearsals and then the Broadcaster can choose the best one. After all, it's a Jury vote.

Thank you :D I hope for the best for both Sweden and the United Kingdom, only difference is Sweden's goal is victory, ours is Top 10! We will just have to see, I dont think UK's gunna do as well as I once expected, but I really we pray we can manage it after just missing out last year! Though according to the press voting we're gunna be like bottom 5 .

And btw Im sorry for some of the things I have said about Loreen before, they were meant in the jest of rivalry but some probably went too far :( :se:

Well, the Hump has an established (if slightly decrepit) fanbase, which the other "Big Balladeers" (sans Zeljko) lack, so that's a plus. I still say it's a toss up because of the Battle of the Ballads. It's a strong year ballads-wise, which means it's actually harder for ballads to do well.

Yes, yes, bygones and all that.

Uugh, poor Loreen, just imagine the fear and panic she must have felt in that moment.
I can't believe how skilful and elegant she sort that incident out xheartxheartxheartxkiss

Otherwise and besides that I agree with you, it is one of the best performances she has done in Baku :).

Who in god's name said that wasn't a major mishap? What the ****! Just saw the video. There is no chance in hell that won't affect the juries voting. Gaah!!!!!!! Especially considering Spain was two numbers away singing like a goddess.

Borderline juries will sink the Swedish ship. Gah, amateurs!!!!

It's pretty obvious what happened, and the juries are people. That could have happened to anybody, and she dealt with it brilliantly. If this is the reason they take off marks, then the juries are stupid. Seriously.

I think it will affect (some) jury votes for sure.
The question is how much? 1 points less from every jury or more? :(

I feel so sad for Loreen though...

I don't think it did that much, her singing and amazing show makes up for it, I do however not think she'll win tonight. (didn't do so before the snowflake either), 2-5 hopefully 6-10 probably.

Actually she only missed half a word, which was "higher". Not a line as drama queens like to put it

If jurors "punish" her for 2 seconds of an accident she wasn't responsible for, then they are ignorant pigs! They will not do this! Even if they place her 2nd in the end, she will still win, trust me! ;)

I don't care if she wins or not - she's done something much more important - she's showed interest in the human rights and democracy in Azerbaijan - Loreen was even mentioned in an article in the Guardian yesterday as being the only artist who'd met with the group fighting for democracy! With the head of the group being quoted saying he was very grateful that Loreen had showed great interest and had taken the time to speak to them!

You go girl!
