or at least ponders 75%-25% xshrug Or 7 qualifiers by televote and best 3 of rest by jury...xshrug

I don't want them in, they're corrupt and hateful bunch... they have bad taste and aren't open-minded to anything... they have a clear agenda to work AGAINST national diversity... they should be kicked out!

And Sweden 3rd? I don't know on what criteria that finished third. Maybe I'm biased?

I watched the jury show and unfortunately they didn't sound good at all. People don't see the jury shows but that needs to be taken into consideration when looking at the results.

But Montenegro was GOOD though during the jury show according to all sources!!!

And if juries only want to treat this as another "The Voice", they are free to leave and enter the right show then...

All their flawless work in previous months to sound bad at most important moment...they were much better at real esc? Or? They sounded ok them (not perfect as they can but still ok...)

I wasn't talking about Montenegro though, I only responded to the statement about Croatia.

The televoters also would penalize a song with horrible singing, the voice is part of a song.

They sounded better, they also had vocal problems during the first dress rehearsal (the one before the jury show)

Matt (you always seems to know some insider info ), do you know what is problem in getting just ranking with POINTS (not detail grid). What that would so change or tell so much to anyone? I mean, even this is some sort of ranking that can tell something...xshrug

There even shouldn't be big 5, they should compete with others in SFs! :?

I agree, but nobody would let that happen. It's not particularly about the money but viewing figures. Without a participant in the grand final nobody in the Big 5 countries would watch it in the first place. Then, we would possibly withdraw. Could you imagine Eurovision without Britain, Spain, France and Germany? I don't include Italy because it didn't participate for a long time. My point is that the only reason for the Big 5 to stay is because of the viewing figures and nothing else. They are already low in France and Spain, and they would certainly drop to unsustainable lows if they don't get a direct spot in the grand final xshrug

There was no point system this year. The juries and televotes were ranked from best to worst.

So in previous years it looked like this

12 Germany
10 Serbia
8 Azerbaijan
7 San Marino
6 United Kingdom
5 Sweden
4 Malta
3 Romania
2 Estonia
1 Bulgaria

This year its done like this

1 Germany
2 Serbia
3 Azerbaijan
4 San Marino
5 United Kingdom
6 Sweden
7 Malta
8 Romania
9 Estonia
10 Bulgaria
11 Spain
12 Norway
13 Denmark
14 Israel
15 Montenegro
16 Slovenia
17 Iceland
etc

So there are no actual points given out. The jury and telephone rankings were combined which then resulted in a Top 10

Atleast the public realize that in a SONG contest you also need to have a good song and not just wailing vocals... hence why the public didn't vote for such craps as :ge: and :am: while the juries did...

The public doesn't need these "guardians" any longer... they did too much harm already... the public are no idiots, the voice of millions shouldn't be overthrown by a corrupt bunch with a clear anti-EURO and anti-diversity agenda... the public has proven that they vote with a far more open-mind than the juries... hence why we got such an odd cool little hipster track in native language like Hungary in the final... something the juries didn't approve of!

The juries should be kicked out from the very same hole they came up from... Europe doesn't need Euro-haters dictating the outcome!

I'm obviously in disagreement with you about the juries but because you didn't like a song doesn't make it "crap". Plus your comments don't really explain the full picture but rather just a narrow and superficial view of the results.

again the PUBLIC are more open-minded, while the juries want to turn this into a bland Anglo-fest!!! The only thing the juries "got right" was Moldova and Sweden...
Yeah, when it comes to Sweden, juries do their duty, and dont turn this into a bland Anglo-fest.

exactly. Example:

Germany 1st place with juries, 10th place with televote = 11
Sweden 3rd place with juries, 15th place with televotes 18
Moldova 10th place with juries, 2nd place with televovtes 12
U.K. 26th with juries, 1st with televotes = 27

So the ranking would be

12 Points = Germany
10 Points = Moldova
8 Points = Sweden
7 Points = United Kingdom

I know you like them, however I hate them even more now... and yes those two songs were crap, one dated cheese imported from Sweden and the other one of the most boring tracks in ESC of the latest years... and the public showed that they are more up-to-date and in-touch and respectful towards other countries' styles than the juries are.

I mean people liking the juries are just as biased and based on personal preferences like not liking them, atleast the voice of the people will always be more legitimate than the voice of a few...

Sweden's entry was never bland though... xshrug

But yeah, support the ones that put :ge: and :am: in the final while screwing over more interesting stuff like :bg: and :me: xshrug

That's so true. Most of the time the juries didn't deviate too much from the televoting results. There were some positive examples and some negative examples, but in the end they outweigh each other. The juries don't deserve this rant as they eliminated the diaspora votes of Greece and Romania!

Yes, everyone who doesn't hate the juries as much as you do is bias.

You are entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. Your "The voice" reason is quite inaccurate, otherwise I'm curious to find while superb singers like :ro: and :ru: this year didn't receive love from the juries at all but a lot from the televoters. Yet, you don't accuse them of doing the same.

I'm sorry but calling those who see value in juries bias is quite hypocritical.
