arent we getting the actual points? EBU is trolling us.

1- HOW THE FUUUUU DID THE JURIES VOTED FOR ARMENIA?
2- HOW THE FUUUUU BULGARIA DID NOT MAKE IT DUE TO THE JUDGES? Last place? is this fo' real?
3- Montenegro 4th in the televoting and only finished 12th overall?

is this a joke from EBU? GOD! This results sound sooooo weird. honestly! just release the complete split voting. this is a joke! no one understands the "new ranking system". to me it makes no sense. There is no need of ranking ervery song, ssince only the top-10 get points. It's just stupid. This just shows a lack of respect for the fans and delegations and it just makes the contest even less transparent.

The thing that's most surprising to me is Ireland's last place. Spain ended up last in the televote and jury ranking yet managed to escape that dreadful spot. While I can see them getting a few points I'm confused about Ryan Dolan as he ended up 14th & 23rd yet placed dead last.......so confusing.

After seeing these results, my respect for the juries vanished in a blink of an eye.

I mean they ranked Montenegro higher than the televoters whereas Cyprus lower than the televoters? SOOC :?

Maybe Ireland just got incredibly unlucky, coming consistently outside the top 10 in either vote? Spain probably came near the bottom (or at the bottom) of most countries votes but all it needs to take is for a country or two to rate them highly and give them some points and they'd be ahead of Ireland.. their overall average would still be terrible. I imagine this is what has happened.

it's the oppposite. The televoters put Montenegro in 4th place, at least based onthe average ranking score while the juries put Cyprus higher.

How come they weren't ashamed of publishing these results??
How dare they take a song ranked 4th with televoters out?
I'm not saying the televoters are perfect.
But without an exception, every single year, I prefer the televoting results to the juries.
It was great when televoters decided 9 qualifiers and the jury 10th one.
The new system of ranking all songs hindered the chances of ''love or hate songs'' to a great deal.
Eurovision needs a radical change in the voting procedure.

We simply can't make any conclusions based on these revealed average placements, since there is points system used in ESC. It's like mixing apples with bananas.
Avg. placement of Spain in televoting in the final was 22,92 whereas the avg placement of Ireland was 14,62.
Now take a look at these invented fake results:

Spain
In 9 countries finished on 1st place = 108 points
In 9 countries finished on 10th place = 9 points
In 19 countries finished on 39th place = 0 points
In 2 countries finished 27th place = 0 points
Average placement: 22,92
Overall 117 points

Ireland
In 35 countries finished on 15th place = 0 points
In 3 countries finished on 11th place = 0 points
In 1 country finished on 12th place = 0 points
Average placement: 14,61
Overall 0 points

You do know the final wasn't ranked out of 39?

xfacepalm Sorry xrofl3

Now that was fail  I totally forgot that there are only 26 songs in the final xfacepalm
Anyway, Ireland with avg placement of 14,61 could still finish with 0 points while Spain with avg placement of 22,92 could sneak in a few top 10s thus getting some points.

Exactly, the ranking isn't representative and only should be looked at as a guide, not as the official score. So based on that all we know is that Romania & Montenegro were liked by the televoters while Moldova and Sweden received jury support. However this is as far as it goes.

I do not get why we can't get at least ranking with POINTS and not averages! I do not object much if we will not get detailed grid of jury/televote voting but at least I would like to see REAL jury/televote rankings!
