well... we'll see. If a few gestures have to be changed - be it. for the outfits: They show no more than in the case of Chanel.
And I'm giving this my third this year.
It's true, but then attitudes have changed over the thirteen years between each of those performances.I was shocked they let Chanel perform like that, tbh.
It's like they prevented Dita from being extra iconic and now they don't give a damn anymore

I do agree completely with you.For me his vocal performance was weak. He could have improved it by May, of course, but we needed a big of magic now and there was none.
And I say that as someone who had Dos Extraños as his pre-show winner.
Which in English we call "vixen", a word that's also used to describe a sexy woman So essentially "zorra" doesn't have any straight-forward, family-friendly translation in EnglishIt also means female fox.
Because all of Europe would have been hypnotised into voting for them by their sheer sexual magnetism! It wouldn't have been fair. What do you mean the attitudes have changed? Then why my dear Let 3 wasn't allowed to show their hairy Stalin Georgian tummies last year?
but you may be right. there are different standards for men and women on stage when it comes to showing skin. A bare male back might shock the old white men in the EBU more than a female one...
People, we've been in the wrong thread this whole time thinking this audience will serve. Look at Malta right now
It doesn't work because you can't use brands in songsWAIT guys I have a great idea: They should rework the song from "Zorra" to "Bimbo". And when the EBU tries to argue that bimbo is a rude term for a woman, they deny it and say they're simply referring to the bread brand
Damn, a fatal flaw in my plan... don't worry guys, I'll think of somethingIt doesn't work because you can't use brands in songs
Well, in that case, it's quite well established that this group sets the standard in this question (at least in the west...) but you're right: it's not important enough to argue about. It goes both ways - Male dancers and artists can show their nipples to 180 million viewers.
Female performers can't.
It's not necessary to make this about "race/ethnicity".
Undoubtedly. But if Spain’s jury weren't convinced, I'm sorry but he only had himself to blame. The system in Benidorm Fest allows the jury to bypass the public vote if the potential is there. For me, his performance was better in the semi-final and that is unforgiveable, no matter how harsh that may seem.I do agree completely with you.
But the potential was there. With a bit of work and a very clever staging.
Oh My Godney.
Is he zorraring a giant banana on stage?!?! Oo
Fantastic! Dawn it is. Also a female name in Spanish (Alba) and in Basque (Goizargi)Who would have expected it from the Templars and Saint Georges
Btw Trivia: in Croatian/Slovenian/Serbian Zora means Dawn, and it's also very common female name here.
Now let's go to Malta people
