The EBU will not allow "zorra" - so the song has to be fundamentally changed (and the question remains if the public had voted for it otherwise).
Also, the EBU will not allow the male dancers' outfits either... (e.g. 2009)
and some dance moves have to be changed as well (e.g. 2021)
They can still make it iconic and camp but they have to massively tone it down.
I knowApart from Jorge, all songs have written Botom 5 in televoting all over it - the winner included.
Zorra already is kinda iconic, though. St. Pedro might have got some jury votes in May but overall, didn't really have any "real options" to perform well in May.
That's probably why I don't like this song at all.P.S. Reminded me now of Modern Talking, the Germans will know
Hmmm. Keiino winning the televote in 2019 and Moldova's second place in 2022 (which I absolutely adored) suggest that juries are still necessary. And yes, despite my views on juries I was pissed off with them in 2023.But's a new era now - televoting in Eurovision is also very different to what it used to be and to be fair, Rudolfo's kinda iconic, too
why?
Why tone it down? Whats left if they tone it downThey can still make it iconic and camp but they have to massively tone it down.
For me his vocal performance was weak. He could have improved it by May, of course, but we needed a big of magic now and there was none.I know
None of them smelled winner
But considering how things are evolving, with so many female singers confirmed, St Pedro could has been a choice for a possible good result.
I'm not a native (or fluent) Spanish speaker, but I'd translate "zorra" as "whore" or "vixen", which are significantly stronger than "bitch", at least in English"zorra" basically means "bitch" and it's the song title and repeated several times.
I'd say "slut" rather than "bitch.""zorra" basically means "bitch" and it's the song title and repeated several times.
The EBU didn't allow Maneskin to swear either (they said "cazzo" as @VirginiaVision correctly pointed it out).
The EBU demanded Dita von Teese to get an extra piece to cover parts of her "breasts" because they deemed her original outfit to be too revealing. I'm pretty sure they don't allow men to wear thongs?
Ronela had to change some moves of her choreography, e.g. grabbing their genitals - something the dancers of Nebulossa's dancers do as well.
As long as the EBU haven't ditched all these rules (which I doubt since Eurovision is still a "family show" some sort of), they will clearly have several problems with the winning entry/performance.

It also means female fox.I'd say "slut" rather than "bitch."
well... we'll see. If a few gestures have to be changed - be it. for the outfits: They show no more than in the case of Chanel."zorra" basically means "bitch" and it's the song title and repeated several times.

True. Let's see if the EBU are convinced! It also means female fox.

EBU is totally going to disqualify Nebulossa, you can't change lyrics withouth changing what the song is about and the reason she sings "zorra" is because of the message.
