yes,but from sunday to wednestay we need to go to sleep earlier to go to work/school,and on friday night we're tired,so we can only stay up late on saturdays....

Today our national television RTVSLO announced the artists, who will compete at EMA 2014.

They are Bilbi, Muff, Nermin Puškar and Samuel Lucas, Nude, Omar Naber, Rudi Bučar and Elevators and Tinkara Kovač.

EDIT 2: The artists were picked by a jury, consisting of Miša Molk (host of EMA 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and the leader of this years EMA), Darja Švajger (Slovenian representative on ESC 1995 and 1999, judge on EMA 2011 and Misija Evrovizija the next year) and Andrea F. (host of EMA 2002, 2010 and spokesperson for Slovenia in 2009, 2012 and 2013).

EDIT 3: The host of EMA will be Ula Furlan (daughter of Miša Molk).


Judging by the names, it's going to be very interesting. I had a feeling that Tinkara Kovač will compete, but didn't expect the others. I'm especially surprised with Muff and this two names, that I've never heard before: Nermin Puškar and Elevators.

Can't wait to hear the songs (especially Omar's )

You know, until a few moments ago I had no idea, what Muff means in English. But then I Googled...

They'll definitely need to change their name, if they win!

Nude are a Slovenian rock band. They've participated on 4 EMAs: 1999, 2001, 2005 and 2007. This is their song from 2007:

And a fun fact about Tinkara Kovač: she and Andrea F. (the member of jury, who picked the artist for this year) used to date from late 90s until early 00s
