Tinkara's entry seems to be the top favourite atm. It was writen by one of the most succesful
composers, Raay. The lyrics were partially writen by Hannah, who represented us last year and it seems like Manca Špik and Nika Zorjan (both are very known) will be the backing singers.
Tinkara hasn't had a new hit for quite a while (although she did win one of our biggest contests this year with a song callede "Mars In Venera"), but she was veeery popular a few years ago. I also did some research and checked who's the most played artist out of this "Ema bunch" and it's Tinkara Kovač by far. I collected the data from "Zavod IPF" - an organization that posts statistics related to number of plays (500 top played artists and 500 top played songs). I found the info from 2008 to 2012.
In 2008, Tinkara was the 10th most played artist on radios (including foreign ones). In 2009, she again reached 10th place, while in 2010 she placed 8th. A year later, in 2011, she placed 13th and in 2012 she finished 7th. I have some info about the songs as well. In 2008, her most popular songs were "Metulj" (finished 47th on the list), "Ko Boš Prišel" (90th) and "Sonce V Očeh" (107th), but many other songs appeared on the list as well. IN 2009, "Ljubezen Je Padla Z Neba" finished 104th on the list of 500 most-played songs on radiosand, "Če Je To Vse" finished 112th and "Ko Boš Prišel" finished 222th. In 2010, her most-played song was again "Če Je To Vse" (it finished 165th), followed by "Ko Boš Prišel" on 217th and "Ljubezen Je Padla Z Neba" on 218th place. In 2011, she only had one song on the list: "Ko Boš Prišel" (281th place) and in 2012 no songs finished among 500 most-played songs, although, like I said, she was 7th most-played artist overall.

Just one question. Where did you find out that Manca and Nika will be Tinkara's backing singers?
This is the only thing that fascinated me in your post, beacuse I barely passed the Statistics in high school

I have an indirect source (another forum), but it was apparently posted on FB (Nika Zorjan also said that the song is very good). It makes sense as well, beause both - Nika and Manca - cooperate with Raay quite a lot (especially Nika, Manca started collaborating with other composers later in her career).
Also, Maja Keuc is supposed to perform on EMA. As a guest, of course. But I don't know if that's 100% sure, because I can't find any official source.
