Hmm I loved English version of 2011 entry, but this one should stay in Slovenian, I think :D

Once again Slovenia sends something great, and once again they will fail since they don't have good enough neighbours to vote for them, such a pity. 5 points.

I think that english is not bad idea for songs that are modern (for example last year Bulgaria!)
but these kind of songs (slovenia, iceland),should stay in their own language.

I think this one is a good candidate for English.

So my point is: English may actually set it apart from those others. But that is only my unscientific theory. ;)

How can the language 85% will use set it apart? I fail to see it.

Also ethnic entries makes no sense in English.

I feel tricked, this was one of the entries I supported, and now they will change the language. It didn't occur to them that maybe some of the voters voted for it partly because of the language?

I thought last year that it was a wrong move to translate Vanilija but that was one of the RARE exceptions that I actually liked No One more. I don't want them to translate Verjamen though...

Hey guys. Good news (for now) ... Eva was talking with her fans few minutes ago in "chatroom" and she said that they didn't make final decision about language yet(english or slovenian). She should sing in english, but they still don't know what to do or what are "BOSSES" going to say :) I hope that someone read comments of people and figured out, that most of them want to hear the song in english. :)

Ehm? Most of the people want this in SLOVENE not in English!

According to your post there there's still little hope for Slovene, but it seems they already made up their mind about English which is a BIG shame!

Ok, so if her 'bosses' are now reading this topic right now:

Please keep the song in slovene! In english it will lose all his essence, and that's a shame. :(

Second that! HELLO 'BOSSES', YOU HEAR US!?

If you entered a song in Slovene and people voted for it, that's what they should get. Otherwise you fooled them and all the supporters of this entry!

Also English makes no sense to this one.

I saw someone writing 'slovene', so i write that way too... But i don't know if that is correct.

Maybe 'slovene' is who lives in Slovenia?

Both "Slovene" and "Slovenian" are possible. =)
ok then.
I had to check in Wikipedia cause I'm not used to english words for that. in croatian, we have clear distinction between "people" and "language" so these things often confuse me :(
