There were few polls and according to them (without hearing the songs) the biggest favourites are: Maja Keuc, Nina Pušlar, Tabu, April and Leeloojamais.
And there are big discussions about selection system. A lot of people don't like that the jury will choose 2 best songs and than we'll be only able to choose from those two. But overall the reactions are pretty good and a lot of people think that this will be the best Ema ever.
First 3 songs will be presented 6.2. and I'm hoping for the best!

News: Maja Keuc's song is written by Matjaz Vlasic, who also wrote "Naj bogovi slisijo" in 1998, "Energy" in 2001 and "Mr. Nobody" in 2006.

I think I like it! He's an author of so many Slovenian hits and I think he can write a good song for Maja.

I know I'm late but can I just say I'm officially excied for this year's EMA? I'm so glad RTV decided to invite the artists, there seem to be some cools ones. I think you guys should look out for Maja Keuc, even though's fairly new on the music scene she's really really good and pretty popular and so far she's my fave.

Yeah she'll definetly be the one to beat, but it all depends on song.
On sunday we'll be able to hear first EMA snippets (April, Nina and Omar). Can't wait!

It's never too late to get excited about something. I have high hopes for Slovenia after several years of rather disappointing entries and results.

You guys forget, that it's not only Maja Keuc on this year Ema. Ther are a lot of good artists that have to be meantion to.

I expect a lot from Tabu, Leeloojamais and also Nina Pušlar...

Lol, why are you translating the English titles?

Anyways, I'm not really too fond about Slovenia allowing English in their preselection now.

Anyhow, nice to see Omar having a Slovenian song, as his 2005 entry was really good but I didn't like the English song he competed with in 2009.

I'd like to see a new face for Slovenia though, as I'm personally not that very fond of comebacks in Eurovision.

Good luck though! Chose the right song this time around!! You often have great entries in national selection, but then chose the wrong winner in the end somehow.

And keep it Slovenian!

Sorry, I just wanted to show what titles in Slovenian mean

There's a lot of changes, cause they're really trying to make a sucess this year. And yeah, one of the changes is that they allowed English songs too. Actually Andrej Hofer (EMA editor) said that they'll probably translate a winning son in English.. and I really haven't decided if that's good or not yet.. Hm...

Omar said in an interview that he actually wrote song in English, and than translated it in Slovenian. He will probably not be a winner, but you never know.. I'm pretty sure that you'll see a new face on Eurovision, because biggest favourites (ofc without hearing the songs) are Nina and Maja, who will both (probably) sing in Slovenian on EMA.

And thank you for wishing us good luck, cause we will need it! We can make good songs, but we just have to choose the right one.
