Maybe Slovenija just wants to be represented?

However, I am (unfortunately) sure that we have to cope with Babic again and again. In my eyes his regular participations suck, not sure what exactly his problem is. He hates the guys at RTVSLO, but obviously not enough to keep his fingers out of the competition.

Think so too. I absolutely love "Ti edini", but probably that's too much of Schlager for Europe.

TVS will sign a deal with selected performers in order to work with the authors chosen by TVS. There will be no semis.

She was robbed TWICE already!

She's got the whole package (looks-voice).

She should have won on both her tries. Slovenia have good songs in EMA, but usually picks the wrong winner (with or without jury help lol)

Absolutely! For 2010 there were at least 3-4 amaaaaaaaaaazing songs and while I like the eventual winner, I would've never really picked it if I'd heard these other songs...

slovenia always have a few really good songs in their final but never make it to ESC (except Alenka).
I would like to see something like Druga Liga or Mandoline

Mandoline was great, especially the remixed version. It should have won for sure. The singer wasn't that strong though.

Yes, she should've won last year, because she had a good song and she sings well too. Anyways... There are rumours that she'll be invited to EMA 2011. I hope this is true, and if it is, I hope that she will have a good song.

RTVSLO is still pretty quite about the contest. I hope that they're preparing something good for us. So far we know that all the participants will be invited by a national TV and that they will focus on young and educated singers.

Some UNOFFICIAL news about Ema 2011
- RTVSLO (our national TV) will invite at least 9 acts - 3 female singers, 3 male singers and 3 groups
- Those 9 acts will introduce theirselves in a special show and then jury will select 2 of them which will qualify to the final show (EMA 2011)
- On EMA 2011 there will be only 2 acts and then people (100% televoting) will decide who of them will represent Slovenia on Eurovision 2011 in Düsseldorf
- Ema 2011 will be held on 27. februar

Anyways.. I have no idea who and when will be invited, etc. but I think we'll soon find out

All the participants will be known till friday. Rumoured artists are: Maja Keuc (Slovenia's got talent runner up), Nina Pušlar (EMA 2010 runner up with "Dež"), Hanna Mancini (singer of disco group Xequtifz), April (kinda Slovenian Lady gaga), vocal group TimeToTime (part of famous Slovenian accapela group) and Gašper Rifelj.

Bah, Slovenia usually have lovely songs in their NF but somehow manage to pick the worst. Hopefully that wont repeat this year.

Yeah, I totally agree. People here always vote for something different, because they think that we can't qualify to final with a "normal" song. That's why we always send something special and very often - bad. The only time when different actually worked for us was in 2007. I hope that this year we will send a good song!
