I agree that Malta and Norway performed well, but Poland? The vocals were awful. Magda blew her chance.

I am really happy that one of the most overrated songs didn't make it. I am talking about Norway, muahahaha!

I am also happy because I voted only for Iceland (because I only vote once and for one country) and they passed!:D

I predicted Switzerland, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Finland, Hungary would pass.

I didn't see Serbia and Lithuania coming.

Overall, I am happy with the results and the surprises!

Turkey will not be able to qualify, I can bet my house on it  There is no diaspora chance ( only UK ), for the rest we may take high points from Albania, and 12 points from Azerbaijan, let's assume that they all gave 12 points, so what ? :p

Realistic words ! Before blaming Turkey, people should have looked for where Turkey has diasporas and which countries participate in Turkey's semi.

I'm not that surprised Poland didn't make it. The song had been growing on me recently, but that live performance was so underwhelming. :(

I think I'm most pleased for the Swiss, it was the song I was really unsure what way it would go.

Sad for San Marino too, could feel the enjoyment she had.....big shame.

In my opinion the best performance of the night came from Serbia. Also very strong performances from Georgia, Switzerland and Finland.

I've always loved the chorous of the Greek entry, but the raping part makes me want to wince really. No rapper or a better one could have put it in my top 10.

I admit that this year both countries (Russia and Greece) had a better song ( in my opinion) that in 2010. And Turkey, I found it to plain, the song was good but the singer, I don't know I felt like he was trying to slow down the song... And for Iceland, ok ok a good song but we all know that there were better song and as I said the first countries that entred in the competition( Poland, Norway, Albania, Armenia +/- Turkey) didn't qualifyed because of their position/spot. But I don't understand why thejudges made the same mistake , (is clear look at that the first 5 didn't q. but the last 5 exception Portugal get thorugh ) Sad but we had similar situation in 2008 and 2009 and maybe in 2010 ( Estonia, Croatia ) ...

7/10, not bad

Lithuania, Iceland and Finland qualified instead of Turkey, Armenia and Poland (one of my predictions actually was that Iceland could do the best of all Nordic countries, but it sounded so insane that I instantly forgot it. Now it sounds believable and I'm quite sure that's what's going to happen). I'm not too surprised, though, I really thought they could do well because they stood out, but I couldn't imagine that Turkey wouldn't qualify.

And I was right about Norway and Switzerland, so I'm quite pleased with my results.

I got 7/10 - missed Norway, Armenia and Turkey (thought as you now think about Greece - it will qualify because it's Armenia/Turkey). I had Iceland on my list, but changed it to Lithuania, so Im happy both did it )))
Nice surprice - Switzerland.
The biggest disappointment at the show is Russia - being so nervous he could sing, but almost could not talk (esp. at the beginning after folk part). And that he almost tripped... Not a winner for me anymore.

If only Greece and Russia were exchanged with Norway and Poland these would be a pretty decent results. But we cannot make anything about it...
I think we should just withdraw from the contest. It is too political.

And the reason behind Lithuania's success? She is from Polish minority in Lithuania, what was underlined in TV :). I bet a lot of Poles in Poland and even abroad voted for her.
And ofcourse her vocals were outstanding so she got a lot of points from juries.
