Real surprises there. Can't believe Switzerland got through, and that Norway/Turkey/Armenia didn't! Semi-Final 2 has better acts in my opinion, so that should be even more interesting :D

Interesting. Or maybe shocking results. I understand Lithuania, i am glad that the juries apreciated that beautiful voice of Evelina. I don't understand Greece, but there too many people from this country spread in Europe. At last a qualification in the Final for the Swiss, they 100 % deserve it. Georgia? Ok, good rock style, but Turkey was better. Finland was overrated by the judges, but I'm glad there are qualified. Iceland? There are other songs better..

Serbia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Russia were clearly in the Finals.

Norway? Poland? Armenia? Wtf? :|

No matter what Poland sends in Eurovision, it wont qualify, this is sad true statement and on the other hand no matter what Greece sends, it always qualify.

But yeah, these results make me scared about the second semi final. It seems that even the favorites have trouble making it to the final. Fingers crossed!

No Poland and Croatia? :( 2 out of my 4 made it (Hungary and Serbia)....aah However I knew about Croatia's flop as soon as I saw their rehearsal. Enough with the clothes-change!

Serbia - based on the performance deserved
Lithuania - not my cup of tea but voted by juries
Greece - why?:(
Azerbaijan -best!
Georgia -don't know why this instead of turkey??
Switzerland - they deserved it!!
Hungary - good but be better in final
Finland - good that he is in final:D
Russia -ok
Iceland - can understand why

8 of those are good for me

Yay for Switzerland and Iceland. I didn't expect to see the in the final.
Disappointed that Poland and Portugal didn't qualify (but not surprised)

Really happy that Serbia made it, and I really liked Lithuania's as well.

But Greece.. Seriously?

Except when you guys sent Isis Gee. You guys often send crap, that's why. "Legenda" last year wasn't crap, but it was plain weird, alienating both the televoters and the juries. It came close, though, 13th.

Norway out shocked me a lot, as did no Turkey or Armenia. Shame Russia got in, too many tone deaf people watching.
You're shocked Norway didn't make it but criticize Alex Sparrow's vocals? He's leagues ahead of Stella.

Seriously, what's up with so many people criticizing Sparrow's vocals? They're not stellar, but they're hardly bad.

Russia ALWAYS gets in no matter how crappy their song is. Thats because of these Russian emigrants all over Europe who just vote for Russia no matter what...
(Oh da, our great motherland could even send Rebecca Black and we would still vote for it. Uraaaa!!)

Aurela deserved to qualify, but it was always unlikely.

Most years the Turkish entry is rather good and deserves a spot in the final but this is still a surprise...

Without doubt best performance of the night was Finland, it was just brilliant! :D I predicted 6 of the 10 qualifiers so not bad, happy about Russia, Lithuania, Hungary and Azerbaijan in particular. A lil' sad about Malta, Poland and Norway though, they were great performances!

8 of 12 semifinalists that I have predicted are going to the final ... Sadly Norway, Albania Armenia and Poland aren't there... I liked Russian entry but that sounds wich were made by Alexei were ... ( I don't need to say that ) ... But let's face it Lithuania and Switzerland really deserved to go in the final... I didn't liked Armenian entry until this semi-final, when I heard Armenia's song I fell in love with that song ! It was just perfect ... Yeah, it's a competition, we all know what that meens... sometimes the best performers don't achive the final .... I recently read an article about qualifying % based on the position wich the countries have started, and the article is true, If Armenia, Poland, Norway and Albania had a different spot maybe the results were completly different.

Well Lucian, Armenia failed and so did Turkey.

I am sad about Turkey, because the performance was one of the best. I am very happy about Lithuania, Finland and Iceland. They were great!!! Congrats to all the qualifiers. Sad about Croatia!
