The biggest problem with this is the singer not the song, which is actually not bad at all. In the hands of a much better artist it could sound like a French chanson and it wouldn't sound like it was a comedy or parody

Ok first let me clarify, Sir Xhat was NOT my favourite this year and yes I would have preferred others for the win.

But this hate against him and San Marino on this forum and from ESC-fans is completely ridiculous!

Apparently it dosen´t matter what we send, each year we gets this hate. For example:

Last year we send a typcial Sammarinese pop song with a very expensive stage performance, at that point the haters complain about San Marino always send the same hot Seagull numbers with focus on slaying. The haters want San Marino to try something new and different...

And this year we don´t send a typical Seagull number, and now the haters instead is disappointed in us because it´s not an "amazing Sammarinese pop song"...


So like I said it dosen´t matter what we do, because we will always have this haters against us. I guess it is because our success in this competiton and the success of Sammarinese music in general. It creats jealousy and i can understand that.


But hey San Marino is still nr 41 with the betting companies, and the song sounds a bit like an Amanda Lear song, and that sound is obviously popular today.
I don´t think we will win this year, but to be honest it would be very fun if we did, only to see the haters reaction when San Marino wins again.
