The performance resembles the winner of last year a tad too much and as such it just comes off as a cheap knock-off. Please realize this; This years winner will either be something completely different OR very low-key minimalistic. The only reason for this to score high may be if:

1. No one else uses costly special effects on gargantuan monitors.
2. Russia not turning into San Marino.
3. The rest of the acts suffering from heavy throat problems/laryngitis.
4. A massive lack of qualitative performances. No clear winner.
5. Neighborhoods running scared - Massive votes for Russia.

A combination of these are crucial for Russia to win.

That will depend on the camera angles? Till now we have seen it only from 1 angle. They will probably polish that.

However, if your performance has to rely on camera angles, you're fucked.

I have nothing against Sergey and , I really like the song, it is my 6th favourite entry this year (best result for me from Russia in last 7 years), and, of course, it will do very well.
The only thing that I can't stand is his performance, which I see like this: "Hi, I am the winner, where is my prize, yes, there it is, oh, good, cool, I have an amazing show that will play a leading role in this contest, just take a look at these specefects, you like them, right.." It all fits together and makes "I Am The Only One". I find it really annoying and silly, sorry. Obviously, looks like they just decided to use that Zelmerlow staging formula and think that it should guarantee a victory. Well... just calm down. There are many more countries in the contest that can win this year, like or which are more original than this year is.
Anyway, good luck to and would like to see you somewhere between 4th and 7th place
