Sergey will win no matter if you like it or not. Snap out of it.
If Sergey is overdoing his staging, you are overdoing your hate.

Seriously, even I post mostly 1 hateful post about a song.

I'm so embarrassed for you.

There's a difference between hate and critique, dear. You know, the whole point of a forum is to express opinions, so you'll just have to face the fact that people think differently to you ;)

As for Sergey winning, yes it's definitely possible, but I'm not disillusioned into thinking it's an absolute certainty. There are plenty of competitors this year and we've only seen 9 rehearsals so far...

I don't get who gave you the right to shut the mouth of those who don't like the staging, find it too much and freely speak their mind? Are we here to praise those whom you like? I, so far, only read/heard good critics. Critics is not hatred, if it was so, there wouldn't be any progress in this world. So the only one who needs to snap out of it is you, in a good sense of this phrase.

Wow that rehearsal was amazing  Mans won thanks to his staging... and this is even better. Tbf Russia would deserve to win with a performance like this, though it's not my favourite song.

10 points to Russia!

I hope he won't win .. But after rehearsal the song grew on me much. He performs it better than Amir.

Hey, people are seeing the light here! I'm no fan of Russia's song to put it mildly - it's a soulless three-minute piece of nothing, and the staging actually fits it very well. They've poured lots of money into a show that only seems to serve the purpose of distracting from the song, and since the scale is massive, it's likely to remain soulless. The screen behind him isn't really the biggest problem, it's that the entire setup is cold and distant. They tried too hard and ended up with an act that definitely doesn't strike me as good, let alone a winner, in any way.

I'm not the biggest fan of the song and I certainly wouldn't like to go to Moscow/Petersburg/Sochi/Perm next year, and I'm also very aware that there's only been 6 rehearsals so far, but I definitely think that Russia could nail it this year. We'll have to see what France's staging is like. There's also the strong possibility that the viewers will see through it as a copy of Mans' playing with the projector, so hopefully that'll work against it.

And as much as I don't want this to win (because it's basically a soulless, eurovision-by-numbers winner), I would be happy if it won, as I think Russian Television would be strong enough to shove off any influences from Stockholm.

This will win. No matter how much you hate us, an Eastern European country will win again. Suck it, bitches

If you're not a troll: You just don't seem to get it, do you? Critique isn't the same as hating. And it has nothing to do with hating Eastern Europe, because for instance i'd love it if Bulgaria would win, and probably some other people with me.

If you're just trolling, then let me respond with this:

I think this discussion should end here. It's starting to get out of hand. Let's keep mature. Please don't quote me here. Thank you.

I really do not get how this has anything to do with Eastern vs Western Europe.... Lazarev just has a very dated (western sounding) song and would be a bad winner due to that. I'd love a strong Eastern European song to win, but Russia simply is not that.

If Russia wins this year for me it will be a flash-back from 2015. A song in the lower part of my top 10 winning - I will not be too disappointed, nor will I be overly happy.

You better be happy, there is only 1 song that has won since I started following ESC (in 2000) that has been in my yearly top 10.

hehe... I guess my taste is a bit more mainstream than yours.. at least normally the winner is in my top 10... hmm.. except from Loreen. And Emmelie. And Ell/Nikki. And the first 3 years of the 2000s. And.... hmmm .....Maybe I am not so content after all...

Very impressive staging. Some elements from the video are really well transferred to the stage.
Only his shadow disturbs a bit at one or two moments when the wall is grey behind him. But it looked as if it wasn't finished yet for 100%.
I was very shortly reminded of the staging of Iceland when the black wings appeared, but Sergey told us already that the wings are kind of a trademark for him. Moreover I think we will see a lot of performances with interaction of artist and backdrop, so there will of course be similarities.

Well done Russia, this is really a feast for our eyes.

I wonder though if this years winner will slay with simplicity among all the bombastic stagings. But whoever wants to win has to beat Russia, that is no question.

Fabulous stage performance - I knew that wouldn't disappoint. Of course everyone is jumping on the bandwagon with the comparisons between Sweden 2015 and this in terms of the interaction with the graphics but I for one am glad they did this as it brings elements of the music video into the stage performance.

Only bit I didn't really like was the wings - don't really see the point in them...
