What I don't get: Someone falls down on stage and is visibly not acting, is visibly not well. Even before he fainted, it was clear, that there was a problem, by the way he tried to hold himself at the mic. And people continue cheering and applauding as if this was part of a show. And the musicians remain in their position for half a minute as if they don't care.

Also, some people laugh when he faints.
Is it funny ?

Poor thing, he fainted and people didn't even noticed, i hope he takes care of himself better. By the way, have you guys noticed that there is a kind of pressure in artists representing Russia in ESC in recent years? Twins crying after the semifinal in 2014, Polina's looks during her performance and her constant crying, and now Sergey fainting on stage.

Hmm I wonder what caused this??? Doesn't look good, and the audience reaction was a real let-down... Now I'm not a fan of the particular song and think it is highly overrated, but I still have empathy for a person regardless... I wonder if it's something serious?

He has too much concerts. I think he uses medicines to keep himself stable but we know, at some moment body cannot withstand :( Better for him to rest or he will just fall at ESC stage.

Regular people work 8hrs a day, Madonna is almost 60 years old and tour the whole world, if he needs medication to do a couple of promo shows here and there which more or less requires him only to sing one particular song then there is something more serious hidden...

xfaint don't be overdramatic, it would be horrible to have such occasion on ESC.
What happened to him is lack of sleep.

Not being overdramatic, but I fail to see how singing some song for not long here and there could be equal being overworked and then I gave a couple of examples...

But yeah maybe the guy is simply not sleeping and eating well enough... I dunno...

It's not just an issue of him popping up, performing a song and then lazing around - I'm pretty sure he is overworked, whether by his own choice or not. Sure, his performances might be short, but he's presumably spending a lot of time on rehearsals, behind-the-scenes stuff, fan meetings, stuff related to other songs, working on improvements in the routine, international travel every few days... add the stress of high expectations on top of that, and I'd be more surprised if he wasn't having issues of some kind. Hopefully he's able to get some rest and be fine with his health from now on.

That's a really strange video. He just passes out like this, the band members show absolutely no response and the audience cheers...

I wonder what would happen, if he passed out like this on the Eurovision stage. They might let him perform again and he might get additional sympathy votes. xthink

in last few months he had dosens of everyday solo concerts all over Russia - last week he was in Far-eastern cities (near Japan), now he performs in central Russian cities. His concets ar 2,5 hours long. THat is why he is exhosted. Besides he performed few times in theature with main role this week. And had long rehreasals of Eurovision performance. that is why after 1hour of concert he fainted.

Yes I really like this song. Russia really do produce some very good Eurovision songs, maybe my country should take note. 10 points from me :)

It seems to me Russians have their own style of pop music. :D

It's kinda schlager sound or something, I don't know, but I would say they obviously like it while we non-Russians can call it late nineteens sound.

:D

Of course this is full playback. Every single step is directed in here and it looks really rigidly, especially his "walk" that starts at 1:36.
I hope this plastic peformance will not win in May. Top 10? Okay. But not a winner.

It seems to me that this question is not even relevant, especially this year. They have just decided that they win ESC 2016. So they examined very closely what caused last year's number one position, then they found someone who LOOKS like last year's winner and "created" a "song" that is only one tiny step away from plagiarism. And just to make sure that everyone in Europe gets the message, they will create an enormous, bombastic stage presentation to distract viewers from the musical "quality".
Worked perfectly last year, will work again this year. I hate that.

Just my opinion. Please don't send men in black suits to explain to me that I'm wrong.

I don't get your post.

My post above is related to Polina's and Sergey's duet where they sing this kind of 90's something song.

I went through Youtube and realized there are so many extremely popular songs in Russia with this kind of sound which I don't hear often these days.

That's why I wrote "It seems to me Russians have their own style of pop music".

And yea, I have no connections with men in black suits. Not yet.
