Dina was just amazing. I hated that song on the beginning but after I saw her live performance on first semi I was speechless. She make magic on stage and that was one of the just a few the best performances in ESC history

What??? That was my impression on her performance. Just try to be realistic and confess that camera work was excellent.

So, so far no names? On my wishlist I have Nyusha and Polina Gagarina. They are two of the top names in contemporary Russian Pop, and they have the looks, charisma, teams, live vocals and song materials that would make both of them strong contenders!

Polina Gagarina

Nyusha

The NF is already at the end of this month, and there is no news for such a long time now...

Re: RUSSIA 2014

Its less then 3 weeks away . Maybe news will come out this week or next xshrug.

When they had national finals in the past weren't the artists/songs named like less then a week before the final actually took place , it felt like that.

Yes, they usually don't reveal any information until right before the show.......

Always a fishy tactic imo...

I tend to dislike the Russian selections, usually there are only a couple of likeable entries and the "right" ones tend to win in the end.

If KaZZaky LTD is the same as the Ukrainian flamboyant male group Kazaky (that also were featured in Madonna's Girl Gone Wild video), then I highly doubt it considering Russia's current "anti-gay propaganda" laws.

Also another Ukrainian "joke" act Payuschie Trusy? With the current state between Ukraine and Russia and what's going on in Ukraine, I'd be surprised if there would be so many Ukrainian names in the line-up...

I have no idea who the rest are (well the Military Ensemble were already rumored so), but if these names are actually part of the line-up, then it'll be a big novelty-fest. I'd rather have contemporary Russian Pop, is novelty acts or cheesy wannabe songs like 2013 the only thing Russia could come up with these days? xshrug

Anyways, I believe it when I see it. However, considering the grandmas was one of my favorite Russian entries to date, I know they can pull off some great novelty aswell... but I think I'd prefer something more serious.
