Russia should have ended higher. I was surprised at the votes this year as well :s All Russia's neighbours kinda turned their back to Russia which was imo undeserved this time because of the great performance. Peter Nalitch last year though was amazing, no need to drag him down!!!!!

I think he has no time for it. He is to go with RedOne and some producers from LA to the Cannes (they are going to take him in their new movie) and after that they all are to go back to LA to the studio. Then Alex will return to Moscow in a month as he has to play in a new Russian movie.

Madalina yep I agree with you (thanks!) But here in Russia people often think they couldn't be lucky in ESC with a song in Russian - dunno why.
But Alex is another stuff: he was to claim himself as a RedOne artist. But I hope they will pay attention to songs in Russian as well...

I am pretty sure that it is connected with his behaviour before and during the contest.
Anyway I wish him good luck, He has nice vocals and he is quite good looking so he will achieve his success one day.

I really really really want more russian song represent Russia!
Russian language is very melodic, your music is awesome and I can't see what is the purpose in using americanized craps under the Russian flag.
Just when I remember to Primadona by Ala "the Diva" Pugachova - it was masterpiece of music art, and for me the best ever Russian song on Eurovision.

You are right. Folks we all are forgetting about prof. jury... Who knows - maybe their voices killed all those many voices from true Al's fans (he really has lots of them already!) I suspect a bit any political aspect.

And in 1998 there was no other slavic nations from east. Today you can won with that kind of song
