Some people compare Alexev Vorobjob and Eric Saade. But I think it is so absurd. There are two other songs, there are two other countries and there are two different "singers". And his song was pretty amazing a song. There is no need to compare them. Alexev Vorobjob is pretty amazing enough.

If was verry weak, why Sweden was had an aweak song with aweak perfomance and got higther..???

Because you is one of the few who actually think Russia was better than Sweden(and you are a famous Russia lover).

If Saade's performance was that weak then why he was 2nd in the televoting? Russia if anyone have many neighbours to voting for them. Then why didn't they do better among the televoters. It's alot of talk about the juries but Russia didn't do any better than Sweden in the televoting either.

Saade was the better singer and performer!

I really disagree. Saade screeched through his performance, not that Alex was much better, but he did sing the majority. Russia's performance, to me, let itself down through the costumes and the cheap jacket gimmick as well as the staging. The song was a lot better than Popular as well as Alex being a better singer than Saade, but performance-wise, it really let itself down.

So, last night I was checking Alex's entry performance in ESC 2011. It was the only song I voted for.

Televoting: #7
Jury: #25 (last one)
Overall: #16

WTF? oOX I mean, this is atrocious. It was one of the 10 most popular entries across Europe, and the jury put it in the last position? Was the jury ok? They liked some other dance-pop songs. What's wrong with Alex's entry? #7 and #25 simply don't match. I was never a fan of the televoting system only (because of the political and national voting), but this jury thing is starting to piss me off.

Seriously, I couldn't stop saying "What the hell" while I was checking the split jury/televoting results. "Get You" was very popular. Televoting proves it. But the damn biased jury screwed everything up. It didn't deserve #16 position at all.

In front of the wonderful frontage of the Santa Croce church, the historical soccer semifinal is being played between the Reds and the Whites. Slaps, punches, kicks and blood were the ingredients that stunned the audience at that time and so will it be this time - with Alexey Vorobyov

With big sadness very bad news reached us from the United States. 2011 Russian entrant Alexey Vorobyob alias Alex Sparrow was seriously hurt in a car accident. Alexey was taken to hospital with a traumatic brain injury and several other injuries.

The singer is currently in intensive care. We hereby want to wish and pray for the recovery of this great and sympathic artist who represented Russia in Düsseldorf with the Red One song ‘Get you’ where he reached 16th place in the Final.

Alex, we all pray for you!
