This is one of few I actually like this year. I don't even mind that most of it is in English, that it's a plastic pop song, that the performance is nothing special. I really just like it, especially the part in Russian at the start. That was fabulous:) Second for me after B&H

Jealous? As if I'm competing in this... xrofl3 I'm just expressing my opinion on each and EVERY entry and this one is rather negative. Just 'cause you're in love with this guy's not my fault...

So bitter comments! You will have your reasons, you know.... I don't care.

That didnt sound a very convincing answer about his sexuality - to me it sounds like oh Im gay but I'll just pretend to be straight cuz my town is old fashioned .

But anywayz, he's super talented and has a great song so good luck la Russie and see you in the top 10 ;) :D.

OMG why is someone's sexual orientation so important?

It's NOT important for singers-dancers and stuff. But we should point out the truth - Alex is totally straight. This interview is just light flirting with the audience. He is a very open-minded and democratic person without any Big Star complexes and is used to communicate with his fans and sometimes to take into account their criticism. So he must have decided to soften his rhetoric in order to be understood quite right.
PS Sorry for my poor English ( I have said it at last! :D)

Good luck Russia! xcheer
Thank you! :D I wish good luck to your fav as well!
BTW Red One has arrived to Dusseldorf to support Alex (I have just watched him in the report of Russian TV - in a while I'll download a video). He said he didn't care of a place Alex could win. Red One is just eager to continue working over their album with Alex and the team. He seems to be very positive and cheerful guy :D:D

Everybody here know that this song is not my cup of tea, but I must wish all the best to our Russian brothers!
(and hope that you will give a few points to Serbia, just a 3 or 5 points hihi  )

Вперед Россия!

Nope, a Serbian song is pretty stylish and good. I think it deserves 8-10 points. Good luck to Nina!

It's been a while since I liked a Russian entry a lot (and actually being in my top10), so I am disappointed that he ended low. And my disappointment is great, because this song did worse than Nalitch and worse than their not so good entries in 2004 and 2005 (especially 2005). In fact this result is one of the worst results ever for Russia. His performance was quite good. I really liked the "ALEX" on the jackets. It was very neat, the performance was pretty good. Unfortunately, only 16th.

I think alot was influenced by his very stressed and nervous condition. When he screamed sth like "Feel my heartbeat, Europe" his voice cracked. It was not very convincing performance, imho.

RedOne is a very very bad composer. I'm sure he received a lot of points from televoting but 0 from juries. Epic fail but it doesn't matter if the American music industry believes in him they will swith the brain washing machines on and we will listen to "Get You" a million times everywhere.

He's not a bad composer at all. It's like you say that so many millions of people who love his songs are deaf. I just cannot understand how he composed this crap... I think he did it in 2 minutes!
