The productions sounds dated to me. It's like all the other competing entries (excepting San Marino) are 2016 and Romania's song is 2006. San Marino is 1996.

This is probably romanias best entry in the decade so far, which isn't much of a competition anyway.

Doing as bad in the polls as never in the last 10'years with the best entry of the last decade.... the world is a paradox...

But for me it's also far better than what we have heard from Romania in the past years... still
I'm not a massive fan of it...

Our entry shows extremely well how outdated rock music has become in Romania. It barely evolved from the songs the band Cargo was performing in the 90s.

I hope our rock artists will take notes from the now deceased band Goodbye to Gravity. I still can't believe they are gone and how modern their songs were.

It's a shame it's doing so poorly in polls but I don't think a lot of people hate it like they do with Montenegro, San Marino etc. It's more of a there are better songs scenario and so people will prefer those.

And this is what always worked great with the Eurovision viewers, but not with the fans. The fact that he reminds Meat Loaf can't do bad things for the final results. The stage apparence will be much better than in NF. That half naked Game of Thrones guy also can't do a bad thing for the final result. The (any kind of) rock songs always did bad in the polls with the fans. I remember that in 2006 I saw a single fan (from two forums) that said that Lordi will win. I don't say that Ovidiu will win, but his voice, his theatre, the message, the stage apparence, the fact that there is no similar song with it in the contest, they all will help him to destroy the Romanian haters (envious) night.

The reverse can also be true, though - Iceland 2012, for example, was a very dramatic and theatrical entry that did much worse with the general audience than it did with the fans. I'm hoping you're right here and he'll at least make it to the final despite the fan polls, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

Growing on me - slightly. Sounds good as part of a musical but on its own it's just weird. Qualifying just the same.

5 points. Vocally it deserves 10 or 12.

After listening to the song several times and watching some live performances on youtube, I really must say that the Romanian entry is currently one of my strongest growers. The chorus is very memorable and the singer appears to be authentic and somehow "powerful".
I really wonder why the poll results above are so negative (currently more 0 points than 12), the song deserves better.
Good luck for the semifinal, I hope Romania gets through to the final.

Is it possible Romania to withdraw this year? They have any financial issues with EBU. Actually, its good decision. They couldn't qualify to the final, I think.

There is a slight possibility we might withdraw since our public broadcaster is a mess and EBU is kinda tired of postponing the 10 mil. debt
