When he was asked if he wants to say something, after hearing the results, he refused to speak and was incredibly nervous. I thought it was rude, he isn't 16 years old anymore, he should at least say thank you for those who believe in his song and who actually voted for that cheap performance.

What makes you think so? Romania has never failed to qualify from semis. Plus semi 2 is very weak. I can't see any reason to be worried about Romania's fate this year

Romania not in the final? The song that lets Romanian diaspora not voting for her home country is yet to be written.

And besides, this is a song that will appeal to a lot of other fans as well, so Romania will continue its series of qualification easily.

Too dramatic and too screamy in parts but should easily continue Romania's streak of qualifications.

I do miss upbeat pop tunes from Romania like Elena, Mandinga...

Little consolation for the scandalous elimination of Avantasia in our national final even though Avantasia is certainly better than Ovidiu.

Why didnt I like this at first?? It's powerful, good voice - and certainly a performance to remember... theatrical and dramatic, but without becoming pathetic and stupid...

This is scary It's not good, I give it 1 point - very disappointing from Romania

Having said that I've just listened to Mihai's NF performance and OMG apart from the big note it was completely and utterly awful, even worse than the selected entry We obvs came across Romania on a bad day this year

One of my biggest growers at the moment. I didn't think too much of it when I first heard it, started to like it a little more after it was chosen, and now it's sitting somewhere around the lower half of my top 10. Really hoping Romania will continue their qualification record this year, since in my opinion this is a good return to form for them after two years of decent-but-not-amazing entries!

It's a huge disappointment. It will probably qualify because semi final 2 is very weak, but in the final I can't see it scoring higher than 20th place.
