As I'm not working for the Australian authorities I don't have the full insight  , but from my understanding it's practically impossible to get in or out from the country if not for some very special exceptions, and I'm afraid a music contest in Europe that doesn't have a major public in Australia isn't considered important enough to make exceptions regarding the pandemic strategy.

Ther is a reason as to why Australia is one of the most successful countries on the planet when it comes to dealing with this.
China (oh irony) or Taiwan is doing well yet they have a different policy.

And btw. Australian athletes like tennis players compete right now all around the world so they clearly got allowed.

I think there is way more that does not meet the eye going on with Montaigne / Australia's at the ESC. Maybe we will learn some of it in a couple of months.

You honestly trust any information coming out from China?

Anyways I guess this fits better in the political thread, I think there's not much more that can be said about Montaigne I just hope the entry will be judged fairly.

I think we can safely say the the pandemic has officially eaten into most of the delegations' budgets or maybe their creativity juice.
We either have super basic/empty staging or just neon LED screens. Some of these stagings seem either sterile or nothing new.

Every year there is some sort of random trend and this year is no exception:
2015: trees and forests everywhere
2016: blue and red in all kinds of shapes and combinations
2017: faces everywhere
2018: well, no screens, hard to tell
2019: cannot remember
2021: 80's vibe colour scheme, 4 dancers

I have a serious question? Do you have o problem with four back dancers. Moldova is a xyz country in a row that has four dancers. If I see another one, I'll start to screaming xhelpIOTAP

2019 had them wide panning camera angles from the back of the arena, and every delegation kicking off.
