I think Iolanda is heads and shoulders above the rest. I would send her to Malmo and that's it.

The performance could be more polished (I'm usually not fond of dancing in these type of songs, but if they enter in the 1st chorus I'm fine with it). A change of background colours would be welcomed as well.

My 2nd favorite (Borsch) didn't totally convince me. He's charismatic, but the attitude was lacking. Also, the song needs way more power than this.

Tumblr, mostly.
Borsch was great, but the staging ain't it, it needed more dramatism and needed a tone shift when the eurodance starts playing.
An interesting coincidence is that him and Mela are from Madeira and both used the microphone semi circle in their stagings.

The staging was reasonable. It needs only a few small adjustments - a different colour palette when the key changes, and better camerawork. It's an intense song and he's serving looks. Focus on João more and the performance becomes more engaging. He's excellent, and you should send him. Europe will go wild for him.

I think Joao has more potential than Iolanda who I also really liked. I think her staging has a bit too much momentum. It distracts from the delicate build-up in Grito and somewhat undercuts the big climax at the end. She sang well but didn't leave as much of an impact on me compared to "...pelas Costuras".

If you give a few of her dancers to João both acts improve immediately.

Grito has the same vibe as MARO's entry in 2022 and would be a great entry for Portugal ! I think this would be in the Top 10 and who knows, potentially maybe fight for the Top 5 if she wins the jury vote overall, but she will have competition here.
Joao Borsch also has a great song but would struggle to qualify.

The problem I see regarding Borsch's song is that he would be competing for the same public that will like the songs from Ireland, Finland and Croatia, if Baby Lasagna wins tomorrow. I honestly think that either is dead on arrival, but Iolanda at least brings another flavor to the table.
