Yes... it is a matter of hours to start seeing some websites spreading the video. MAAG will be the first one.

The live performance of "Grito" is now trending on youtube at #5 and has surpassed the number of views of the lyric video published back in january, for reference the number of views on the live performance is 169k and for the lyric video is 161k. Although, to be fair the views on the lyrics videos are very low and basically everyone else will have more views on the live perfomance than the lyric video at the end of the week, João Borsch, for example, has 73k views on the live performance and 113k on the lyric video.

On spotify's "Viral 50 - Portugal" chart "Grito" is at #14 and "...Pelas Costuras" is #26. Also related to eurovision, "Tuta Gold" from Mahmood is #9 and "La Noia", Angelina Mango, is #30.

I don't want to say that Iolanda is totally winning it, because there are other factors that may lead to another winner for both the judges and the televote, but so far the numbers point Iolanda as the clear winner.

He does not. :-) There isn't much overlap between ...pelas costuras and no rules, ireland aren't going to get many votes anyway, and baby lasagna currently suffers from a lack of experience and being in the first half.

His qualifier odds are perfectly reasonable, and not specifically lower than iolanda's, who competes directly with raiven and whoever wins in serbia (teya dora or breskvica)

And neither are dead on arrival. Portugal is always a borderline qualifier, but you have the 12 from Luxembourg and a potentially good draw. Both are good performers with good songs. Making the final is hard but is absolutely possible. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!!
That statement makes no sense. In 3 out of the 5 semi-finals Portugal competed in, Portugal finished top 5, both in overall results and televoting only.
Ever since the semifinals turned 100% televoting people act like anything that isn't uptempo is a borderline qualifier and hated by televoters everywhere by default when that is absolutely not the case.

You need to see also which countries are voting in the semifinal, last year Mimicat got a 12 from France and Switzerland and a 7 from the Netherlands, most likely thanks to the portuguese diasphora in those countries, but this year we are not so lucky, sure there's Luxembourg, but that's it, plus the portuguese broadcaster doesn't know or lacks the resources to promote the portuguese entry, they pretty much leave that to the artist that wins the nf. Hopefully that will be Iolanda as she seems to have no concerts scheduled up until May, after the esc final, and maybe she could do a couple of pre-parties, UK will vote on semi 1, so the Londo pre-party is a must and due to her having a song half in portuguese and half in spanish with Soluna she could also do the one in Barcelona.

There is the Luxembourg 12 points and we still have a considerable diaspora in UK and Germany. Poland, Lithuania and Iceland as a good recent televote friends, as well.
Apart from that, let's remember that this song should be a good magnet for the balkan public.

I can't stop listening to Iolanda. It's becoming my favorite to win. I don't see any other option. Let's wait for semifinal 2, but I doubt anyone can beat "Grito" in terms of music for me.

I ask, has there ever been so much consensus on this forum? It seems that all the Portuguese who are here support Iolanda, or is that wrong?

I don't remember this happening to Maro, Mimicat etc... for example.

and its not like the rest of the entries are bad, quite opposite. a lot of quality in both semis.

but lets wait for the final, we all could suffer from an heartbreak with the televote. (2017 comes to mind)

I don't think that in Portugal regional voting is actually a thing, but I do wonder if Borsch being from Madeira will help him in any way, it didn't help Mela, who is also from Madeira, but I do wonder. Also let's not forget that the judges in the final sometimes can be very random, I can totally see a scenario where Huca wins the jury vote due his song being an homage to Sara Tavares.

I'm more concerned about the televoting, (I was referring to Nova Gloria winning in 2017) and the voters disagree with the juries more often than not I think.
The juries will probably favor Maria Joao, but i still predict they'll have Iolanda 1st.

Just watched the performances from last Saturday and all I can say is Iolanda all the way. Sure Portugal is on a hard semi, but if the song qualifies, I can see it doing very well with the juries, what a piece of art!
