This was 100% worth the final for me, Conan came so hard that people couldn't handle that much awesomeness.

Me neither tbh Why you Portuguese need to do that to me? Wasn't it enough to send "Amar Pelos Dois" and then "O Jardim"? I was dead two times already and you present us "Telemóveis"? The nerve of you!

No need to say I'm very sad you didn't qualify. However, you're in serious contention for the first place in my personal top if that can comfort you.

Regardless of this non-qualification and although the staging might not have looked like what he wanted, I feel like Conan showed his artistry with no compromise, and I think that's what's important. I can tell it's gonna be among my classics.

Three years later, I'm still baffled by Portugal becoming the highly-sophisticated boundary-pushing parent of the Eurovision family. I understand your recent results aren't encouraging you, but I hope you will keep on sending this kind of artsy and intricate music in the future.

Depends what you set as a goal. Being dead last in 2018 and now not qualifying is not my definition of success.

I'm referring to what they've been recently doing with Festival da Canção: opening the door to more current musical scene artists, bringing the show closer again to the people and what they listen more frequently in Portugal; making better shows production- and entertainment-wise. What then happens at Eurovision is another affair and not entirely in their hands.

If that's the case, it just proves my point about juries in the contest even more... they really kill all local and interesting stuff in favor of generic Pop in English ... so much for "experts" and celebrating "diversity"...

His Song was Top5, but he didnt deliver. Everything concerning the Visuals was horrible. I dont agree with the Juries here, but I can somehow get it.

It just YT though, but since his odds got blue drastic after the performance, I wouldn´t be surprised if he managed 4-5th place in the televoting, we don´t know, maybe it was very tight in televoting and the points were widely spread, that could have cost a place in the final, it will be interesting to see the semi result on Sunday night

OMG, Katerine is so cute stanning Conan: "WTF? It's not possible, there's no way. Makes no sense. So sad, I'm a fan!" He was super cool and happy that she qualified.

Yes, it was always gonna be a shot in the dark with this, especially when the first impression has to be really positive and memorable. Unfortunately it didn't come through and Europe didn't connect.

In cases like that people who are disappointed by the result are more likely to express themselves than people who just didn't vote for it for whatever reason. So you can't make conclusions out of this.

This performance was just ??? Like? Huh? My boyfriend just laughed for the entire 3 minutes. The song itself is really interesting but it was clear that one of the two voting parties would not get it. I never usually use that damn term but man ... this was pretentious af.

I think after the events of the previous week he'd accepted his fate. Such a pity, the whole FINAL BOSS atmosphere really worked for me. Possibly too ahead of its time.
