Re: PORTUGAL 2017

Eurovision 2017 is making me go against ballads. And we have more than enough of them in Festival da Canção. The fact we already have three in the first half of the first semi-final is something to be concerned about. On one hand, I am convinced televoters here will get behind something upbeat as they usually do. On the other hand, this jury is potentially a problem as it has always been. If a slow song wins unanimously, I will concede – but at this point I do not think it is in our best interests. I am nervous.

Upbeat or ballad, or whatever genre, just chose the best and most competitive song.

we may be "crappy" but we were never last at a Eurovision semi-final. Not even with Homens da Luta.

Don't worry about that troll. It's the same that got hysterical by the banality of Norway last year which FAILED so big!

Portugal is one of my favorite ESC countries. (Slovenia, Estonia, Italy are faves too)
