I have to say that I reckon that Luisa isn't singing, unless her vocals would be very similar to Salvador's ones.

It was 110% Luisa singing. She's a vocalist inspired by jazz too. Here's a video of her singing the song with her brother after he won the National Final.

I am fine with either Italy and Portugal winning. I love Italy for it´s fun dance song with the awesome gorilla on stage, but this is just so beautiful!
It would be cool if Portugal took their first win xheya xcheer xyaay xrunhug xlove xlove

I am telling you: I was nervous about the staging until recently. However, after seeing it I am not only relieved but also satisfied.

I cannot believe they went in the direction I was hoping for. I really wanted an enchanted forest kind of theme. The backdrop creates a fantasy-like atmophere that fits the song perfectly. This theme is modestly present in the national final performance – just the trees, no effects. I was not aware of it until I saw someone pointing it out on the web. Going with stage B is a nice surprise and a good call as it will help such a song connect with the audience.

The delegation is inspired and focused. It would have to happen eventually.

I think we can only grasp how good the staging is on the show. It's that type of staging that will really come together with some fantastic camerawork, I think, and we can't really see that on the rehearsals, only on the show itself.
Plus, there is the obvious fact that Salvador will only perform next week!

It may actually be my favourite rendition of the song so far. The moment he takes off during the instrumental section... xshock

Well, I didn't expect their voices to be as alike and similar as they actually are. :?

I had been waiting and waiting for this to finally be up!
Agree with you about this being the best rendition so far. I have no words to describe the flutters and waves this song does to my heart of music and soul.
What comes into my ear and eyes does not need receptors and second messengers. It goes straight through into my nucleus and changes the DNA held inside.

Call me crazy, but I think Portugal can win. If they are lucky with jury+televote disparity - maybe it can happen. This can do well with both.

One more reason why I want Portugal to win, besides the obvious ones, is that hopefully that would take away the focus from staging and over the top props and gimmicks in the next year. It really seems like fans nowadays only care for staging if there is some sort of gimmick, and it seems like more and more songs that don't need it are going over the top with this sort of thing because it has been the tendency in the last few years. I want more focus on the songs and not so much on the staging! That focus is shifting way too much nowadays!

Question to all our Portuguese members:
What result(s) would be considered "acceptable" by the Portuguese public and media?
I feel like the expectations are reeaaaaaaaally damn high (maybe too high?). From the outside it looks similar to the situation back in 2008.
