I think this is not fair. All participants should have the same conditions.

I'm sure anyone with health issues would get the same treatment. It's completely fair.

I am still waiting for cancellation of his concerts until Eurovision.
I mean, if you have health problems, the least you can do is rest before going to Eurovision.

Unfortunately, it has already reached the public and I can confirm: yes, the Savior is waiting for a transplant and a compatible donor, He is in a state of health that requires some care, you only think of trials !!! Support the young man, he has two rehearsals before the jury, arrives perfectly.

I'm sorry, but then I don't understand why he is participating, if his health conditions are so serious. I'm totally perplex. Sorry.

He has a wrong old-fashioned view of the contest. Hopefully his time in Kyiv will change his mind, and the mind of some of the Portuguese people too!

He admited he's got prejudices about the contest. He is indeed honest but I would have expected from him to get more familiar with a contest he's taking part. He's also said he has not listened to another songs, yet he said he will get bored during the show because there are too many similar songs. How could he know that if he has not listened to them?

Then he thinks it's unfair people think he's arrogant...

I love the song, I think Salvador is a great performer, and he doesn't need to be a fan of Eurovision, but he should learn to be assertive too.

I'm sure it's due to health issues. Every single artist I know want to rehearse the times they can, I don't know a single one who would voluntarily skip a rehearsal.

But BTW I'm starting to think the first rumour about his heart and the transplant was true. A hernia doesn't stop you from doing so many things for so long time.

I regret that our representative is not a fan of the Festival, but I also think he can fall in love, what the savior likes and bring the emotion to the stage and sing the song, and I hope that all who like music vote and not look Gestures, nor for interviews. In Portugal, you have little information about your health, but the truth is that you have a serious problem and are at risk of life, since you are waiting for a transplant and a compatible donor (a safe but unconfirmed source). Length of Portugal :pt::pt::pt:x12sx12s

He has already listened to some, his favorite is Occidentali's Karma ;)

I don't care if he likes or not ESC
I don't care if he is old-fashioned or not
I don't care if he speaks english or not
I care about the emotions this song gives to me.
He sings with his soul, with his body, with his wonderful voice.
Really love him and his song and wish him a good luck

I hope Salvador rests well. First and foremost, health must always be the priority. His sister is great and i totally trust her to create a unique atmosphere in order to captivate audience. Then, Salvador's voice and his quirky gestures will do the rest of the work. Simple just like the essence of Amar pelos Dois!

RTP confirmed yesterday that it is because of heart problems.

About those statements that he could get bored cause the contest is way too long and has several similar songs...

In that same interview, he points out that he can be quite inconvenient at times, cause he says whatever comes to his mind at the moment, without reflecting on it.
So yeah, that statement didn't come across well, i won't sugar coat it.

But at the same time, i honestly don't think he meant it in a disrespectful way. He could've just worded it better.

I just saw an interview today with Salvador and Luisa where they both say one of the things they're looking forward to is to meet all the other artists and share experiences and speak in different languages with them. And that also came from an honest place.

The fact that he won't attend the rehearsals actually excites me.
No, not the fact that he's sick, I wish him the best of health.
But something about it really makes me emotional.
I'm actually literally in love with this entry.
What a moment it's going to be to see his sweet sister who wrote the song standing in for him.
And then, he will stand on the big stage for the first time in semi final 1.
And he will blow everyone away.
It's going to be such an emotionally tender moment. Because of his sincerity, his struggles, the message of the song, the way he performs it.
I predict a speechless audience.
The fact that we'll be watching him perform it for the first time since the Portuguese NF will really add this factor of awe, in my opinion.
My winner is Finland, but I'm rooting for this to win. Not everyone seems to get this entry, but the people who do, we just feel this inexplicable connection to everything about it. I love how polarizing it is. It's so charming.
It's truly one of the most special entries in ESC history.

I feel like I'm not emotionally ready for his performance, specially given the latest developments regarding his health. I'm not the kind of person who cries much but I don't think I will handle all the emotions in the night tbh

I'm gonna lose it. Seriously, I already predict all the tears. Oh my god, how I wish I could vote, but I just have to be American. *rolls eyes*
