I saw someone say that he said in an interview in the radio today that he will go to his concerts on April 29th and 30th...Is this true? If so, I'm really disappointed, it's very unprofessional from him and RTP's team.

EDIT: I've also read people saying the team already booked the flights for April 29th, so I don't know what to believe anymore

MESS

raw

Pathetic attempt to create drama tbh, the russians are laughing at us atm

Yes, he says that he will be in Spain Sunday or Monday (he doesn't know ). I suppose it's the pre-party in Madrid.

Quite a far fetch, but Salvador's flamenco interpretation brought me back to my kabuki-watching days. Especially in the way the echos work on parts.

Kabuki is a lot more serious, unlike Salvador, who has almost taken a comically humorous version of it( having said thus much, i may have misinterpreted the style of flamenco).
Though it was so exaggerated at a certain point that I couldn't help but stifle a laughter cough.:lol::lol:

The interpreted humour portrayed reminds of this song's style: something from primary school.

As far as I know delegations already have the schedule, so it's weird.

I'm confused as heck by the different updates. They all make sense, but contradict each other. I'll leave the updates of the situation to you guys Krishoes, Joao,DanielLuis, and Johnny West. (As a science student, I ask, where did you guys get the info?)

That is why it's weird, surely they knew about the rehearsal dates beforehand. He actually skipped the rehearsals for the final of FdC in order to attend concerts he had already scheduled. I hope this time around he won't do the same, if he does it shows how little he knows of Eurovision. But that should be the job of the delegation to make him understand how important the rehearsals are.

Anyway I think he will probably reschedule these concerts to after Eurovision. It even makes sense for him, probably even more people will be interested to attend after the contest than now.

By the way, Salvador shot the Portuguese part of the postcard today in Lisbon. I think photos of it will be released soon.

I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but I suppose it's not possible for artists to skip the rehearsal?

He has said in interviews that he knows the song inside out and he feels no pressure because there is nothing to go wrong. There won't be any choreography, so there are just camera angles to worry about which could easily be done by a stand in. Is there any reason why it is so important for him to be there in person for the first rehearsal? I'm not arguing one way or another, just curious why you feel so strongly about it?

Didn't he skip the FdC final rehearsals because he went through that hernia surgery? If i'm not mistaken, he did it exactly between the semi and the final (in which he was still recovering).

Eurovision is a once in a lifetime experience (ok if you're not Valentina Monetta or other few ), how can you prefer a concert that can be postponed to the official rehearsals of the show? xD The rehearsal are not just few camera angles, there are many things to test (microphones, background, make up etc.) and the first and the second rehearsals are fundamental if you want to improve something

I think everything will be fixed. It happens almost every year that an artist is not avalible to do a rehearsal and ask an another country to switch time with them. This can be made for Portugal as well, if the concerts is not available to be rescheduled.
