The song has quite a bit of support from the UK- He's currently #9 on the Viral Spotify Charts on the most English-standard-insisting country XD Currently doing a university unit looking at the different English(es) around the world. A lot of people there are relating to the song. It's slightly telling on the quality of the songs, considering not many songs make it to their country's spotify playlists, except for perhaps Portugal, France, Sweden, Italy and Belgium.

Oh hey, which university to you go to? Wondering if it might be the same one, since we're both Melbourne uni students studying language

No way(oh my god!) I study Linguistics, Indigenous Studies and Physiology at Monash. I understand you're from Latrobe from previous posts? How I'd fight to be in your place to hear such a surprise as Isaiah singing live and unannounced!

Nope... I'm Monash too, actually! Clayton campus. You?

Oh my goodness. What the hell is this? I'm also at Monash Clayton. We better arrange a meet-up! Lol, does this ever happen in these forums????

I honestly didn't expect to find someone from Monash Clayton here, because the forum seems so big!

Lol! Yes, we absolutely need to meet up at some point. We've probably walked past each other at some point in the Campus Centre or Floor 5 (Linguistics) of Menzies or something  I do translation, so I'm mostly around the linguistics areas too.

Update. 1 point from OGAE France.

This ranks where it should – not at the bottom; near the top, just not quite there.

Doon sooth
My mum genuinely started crying when I showed her the song. She thought he had cerebral palsy or similar cos of his kind of erratic body movements, but thought the song was just fantastic.

There are two French publications that have acknowledged this. 20 Minutes calls it a "superb melancholic song" and refers to it as a "delightfully anachronistic sound", whereas Paris Match announces it as one of their ten favourite entries and mentions a “great vocal mastery”.

And thumbs up for that draw! That position was the one I wanted the most.
