You are so right I think, lke Flor de Lis did, but this one seems to me more promising actually, somehow genuine, quality, fresh...

Oh not that type you like, hahahah this is REAL ethno, real QUALITY, not cheap ethno pop like Catarina Pereira, shake it up entry! these non exist in this year FdC it seems Thanks God!
I hope her entry will rely on real Portuguese "campo" music, from the inner Portugal (Alentejo for example)...it would be nice to include Portuguese bagpipipes for once, we had a lot with accordion from Portugal, but I'd lieke with bagpipes as well!

I didn't think I would like any of the qualifiers but I really love Amar Pelos Dois! It's really classy and vintage and feels like you're on a river in a boat in Lisbon or something, it's really atmospheric, and I think they could enhance that feeling if they were to win and get to perform in Kiev. And it helps that he's kind of quirky as well

Wow, I found some time to listen to semi 1 songs and omg this NF is amazing, probably the best this year so far.
Literally, that Lisa Garden song slays entire MF. 
Although Salvador is miles above others, gave me chills. ;__;

For the first time since I can remember, Portugal has the opportunity to contribute to this contest with something really special, leaving a lasting memory in this year's edition. Salvador's song is exquisitely beautiful in its sheer simplicity, it is as heartfelt as it is vulnerable, and it will make a difference among all the bland, ordinary songs that live in this environment. Quality always does. One can only imagine what it would look and sound like on the big stage with the right staging, but the effect might prove spellbounding.
My only fear is that it is far too good for most people to fully understand its potential and it might end up being overlooked in favour of something more accessible. It doesn't bear thinking about. It will break my heart.

There is still one semi to go and the songs in there are not known, so everything's still an open book and one is justified in feeling apprehensive. Still, among those which have already been selected it is just possible that Salvador may come to do better in future televote as youtube views have shot up comparatively to those of its competitors. It is also the most discussed song and performance. One must also bear in mind that ratings of festival da canção were low, so it is safe to believe televote systems weren't such a busy corner of the world! This situation might change a bit in the final, but whether that will be to Salvador's advantage remains to be seen...

I voted for it 5 times in the semi and was still pleasantly surprised it did so well overall. The song has been a hit since Sunday, reached number #1 on youtube (Portugal) and it's been grabbing people's attention. So i expect it to do a lot better in the final.
As for me, i'm just obsessed over this.

I didn't vote. When I picked the phone I realized I had forgotten to put extra money in it, so I had to sit quiet and rely on the discernment of others. Next time I'm sure to be more careful and I'm gonna vote like a maniac!
