I'm not sure why you felt the need to come into the Portuguese thread and literally call it the worst song of the year. Seems a bit attention seeking to me, but OK.

In 2014 it was the most dramatic changes in the odds during both semi finals. Armenia and Sweden were the favourites before the semi finals and The Netherlands were overlooked by the Eurovision fans and I believe the odds were around 100/1 or more. I don't remember if it was after or during the show the odds moved to around 10/1. The same happened to Conchita in semi 2, the odds before were around 33/1 but then changed to around 2/1.
Pretty similar to what happened to Portugal's odds this year but on a bigger scale. The bookies are always scared of betting events like the Eurovision because someone with inside information might fancy getting a bit more of cash out of their day job. If someone was to go to a bookmakers with the intention of betting on Real Madrid to win the champions league they would take it without questioning the honesty of the person, but if the bet was for Eurovision or any event like the x factor, big brother or other tv event they would be suspicious of being someone with inside information trying to have a bit of easy cash out of then.
In regards with the accuracy of the odds after the semis in the later years I have a suspicion that is probably the EBU that provides that info. Maybe the bookmakers pay then to have access to jury and televoting figures as soon as possible and informs the EBU if any suspicious betting activity takes place. If the bookies were getting that info from a rogue employee that would be of very wrong and damaging for all involved with the voting, so I believe that some sort of protocol is established between the EBU, the companies in charge of the televoting and the bookmakes to exchange info.

If Bulgaria is drawn in the first half as well, it will be a bit of a nightmare for the producers. We would have Azerbaijan, Armenia, Portugal, Italy and Bulgaria all on the same half, and maybe some other contender as well! Belgium would be the lucky one if that happens.

This songs seems overhyped. It sounds nice but it doesn't sound like a winner to me. If this finishes in the top 10, I'll be surprised.
