Not really. Of course in the daily lives nobody thinks about this but us fans, but almost all the reactions on the Eurovision nights and the FdC nights are that the (Portuguese) songs are all old-fashioned, that RTP should try something new, that we are not on par witht he rest of Europe, et cetera.
That's what everybody in my family says about the Portuguese songs in the nights of the shows for example.

Sure. Those few watching it say that, of course they do, how could they not say it?

And then they lose interest. And RTP, facing poor audiences, loses motivation. So do good singers and composers. Vicious circle

Quite worrisome that the semi-final is already in the next weekend and RTP has not promoted at all. Plus, TVI confirmed they will premiere Masterchef Portugal on the same day. So RTP will almost surely lose to RTP, but they can still be 2nd in the timeslot, as they usually beat SIC on that timeslot in Saturdays.

It's sad this is so predictable, but the TOP 3 will be between Catarina Pereira, Suzy and Rui Andrade.

Unless there's some unexpected twist.

It seems like it. I believe all three will advance to the final. Catarina will probably win, but Suzy is a big threat. Rui is coming stronger than ever, since this is his third attempt.

Perhaps that would be an advantage for . Viewers might mistake Catarina for Ruth and ACCIDENTALLY vote for instead

They do look alike, both of them are really pretty!

I can't see any similarity beyond both being brunettes. Besides, character like Ruth strikes me as a stage diva wannabe, Spanish old fashioned bitchy style, whereas Catarina is a very easy going, natural, likeable person

For me, who is an outsider, they both look like what I have in mind when I think of Iberian women . They have similar features too! (at least to me!)

Catarina does seem a bit more humble than Ruth, I give you that.

They aren't promoting the show at all. It will bomb I'm afraid, specially with the premiere of MasterChef in TVI. And it's all RTP's fault.
