You should thank your Polish and Slavic immigrant friends, since they obviously all voted for Poland and/or Ukraine/Russia. The jury gave no points to your country because they're professionals, they hear a bad song when they see one.

Be grateful you even ended so high.

Lol. Just shut it. If not diaspora, in that case: immigrants.

I can only imagine what is going through the minds of Margaret and her team.

This song was...up to interpretation...but he sang it like his life depended on it each and every time. Good job on Michal's part.

If it was just Slavic/Polish immigrants then Monika would have done FAR better then she did (she was like 15th in the televoting I think). Michal performed for the people and the people accepted him xlove

Could anyone please explain that televoting result for :pl: to me??? PLEASE! It can't be just the diaspora...

I already did when I posted right after the performance in this thread, he absolutely nailed the vocal, much better than in the semi. Possibly the best vocal on the night, in a song that is at least catchy.

Don't pretend. It was probably because the jury and televotes were counted separately instead of together.

I must admit that A new voting and announcement system is really dramatic and exciting especially when your country has only 7 points from juries and is still in the top 10... top 9... TOP 3... of the televoting.

Poor Poland xcry It doesn't matter who they send - they will always end up last in jury voting.

Because the song was painful to listen to! The jury obviously know what they're doing.

Who else than the Slavic diaspora could have voted for it?

Is it so difficult to accept that even some people with no personal ties to Poland whatsoever simply like the song?

Yes, obviously - there can't be anyone who hasn't loved a Polish entry for 22 years who loved it oh wait
