Sadly I wouldn't get my hopes up. This dreadful song will definitely pass to the final because of Michal's stirring vocals (which will appeal to the juries), large Polish diaspora and lack of serious contenders in the semifinal. This means that majority of Poles will continue to consider Eurovision as a parade of kitsch and tackiness and as a result we will get more obscure entries from Poland. Let us hope that TVP come to their senses soon enough, so that they will select next Polish entry via Internal Selection rather than another laughable National Final.

I think it's quite telling that "Cool Me Down" and "Lustra" from the Polish selection are practically the only entries (from that selection) having some radio support in Poland... ironically they were also the only two decent/good entries from that selection imo... radio is not touching Michal Szpak, there simply seem to be no public demand or support for the song. He should thank his legion of emo tween/teen girl fans voting in a selection that was viewed by few and had a very small amount of televoters in general. With few voters it's much easier for a certain group to impact the outcome unfortunately. I agree though with what someone else stated, due to the very bad and mediocre year and juries' obsession over "vocals" and dated ballads in English, he might actually make it to the final afterall.

OK, some of us like the song, some of us don´t, but none of us can change the fact that Michal is the winner of Polish NF and Margaret is not. I wish her all the success she has in Polish radios and Youtube views, but in the context of Eurovision 2016, she is a dead parrot. Seriously, let´s move on.

You guys will be suprize this year. Atm, this song is the song wite the most views on Eurovision youtube channel of 2016 songs. Wite a crazy number of 3 million views. Alot of hype on this song going on around the web. This song is one of its kind this year, really beautiful voclas and i have no doubt at all that he will reach the first 5 in the final, mark my words.

Agreed. I think a lot of Eurofans are going to be very surprised at how well this entry does. Top 5 in the final is a real possibility.

Guys keep dreaming :) He might be In Top 5 - but in the semi. There is no way this is going to end up higher than other much more popular songs (:ru: :fr: :bg: :se: :au: :is: :no: etc.)

Well, :il: 2014 supossed to be TOP5, but it didnt qualify. :sl: and :al: (EDIT: 2015) supossed to be at least TOP10, we know how it ended up - something went wrong. Polis should have qualified in 2011, she did not.


It's starting to be pathetic. Eat a Sniker sor get a life or whatever.

Pathetic? Just because I don't like the entry unlike you and your lot? :lol: Not everyone loves it, deal with it.

It's true that there are many surprises. But this entry doesn't have anything to offer except for Michal's powerful voice. It will end up like Isis Gee IMO. :al: 2015 and :il: 2014 had disappointing live performances and were not jury friendly. :il: also doesn't have big diaspora outside of the country so it cannot rely on them unlike other countries. In case of :sl: they were performing at the beginning and they also don't have big diaspora to rely on.

Having said that Michal will almost definitely be in Top 5 in semi because the semi is so week and juries will love his song. Unfortunately for him, the song will not impress anybody in the final as there will be many more interesting performers.

And not everyone hates it and you have to deal with it too. The pathetic thing is you writing the same thing all over again. We are not stupid. You hate this song - we get it, we understand it we respect it. Why you do not respect us? There are entries I don't like eg. Spain, but I don't write in their there that I hate the song 1000000 times a day. I think I wrote it once and that is enough for me. You are just an odious, little hater.

I have already dealt with it :) If you enjoy it, good for you. I just express my opinion, and respond to certain things posted on this thread- that's kind of the whole purpose of having forums. If you don't like the Spanish emtry, you can still post in the Spanish thread because this forum exists so we can discuss music and challange our point of view as well as the point of view of the other members. That's why I keep commenting on all of the threads. I admit that I was a bit bitter straight after Margaret lost but I have cooled down by now and I just comment on things other people are writing. I'm not a 'hater' - in fact the song has grown on me a bit, it's no longer last in my personal ranking but 37th. I also do not comment here 1000000 times a day - just from time to time.
