The Spice Girls are gay icons. Why would any boy love them unless he didn't want to be a Spice Girl himself? I guess you also fancy my little pony....

And honestly, I didn't watch the Olympics at all, just the opening and the closing ceremonies.... happy now? I hope so.
I hardly think that I aware of my sexuality aged 4 :D And that's just homophobic that...

The fact is that you hate the United Kingdom, and anything Anglo Saxon tbh, and you are very annoyed at our success and achievement. You are not happy that we have proven that we are not a 'finished' country, and that in fact we are just as great as we always have been, but have also adapted to our modern society - something some people are not happy about either.

What a lovely family. Has he already congratulated the Russian and Chinese presidents as well? And when is he gonna console ours?

You dont have the special relationship and love and affection that the United States and the United Kingdom have for each other.

Ignorance again.... I have been in the UK and US very often. How many US states have you travelled so far? I travelled 22 plus D.C., and two Canadian provinces. And I have been to Malta...

Honestly, I wouldn't wanna live in either USA or UK, but I'd love to live in Canada. Austria and Canada are economically much more developed, the standards of living are higher. It's less a struggle than it seems to be in the mighty Anglo Saxon world. But the thing I hate both about USA and UK is just their nationalism, their non-binding cheerfulness (looks dull to me) and their ignorance about everything Un-English/American. And the food is horrible btw. Maybe there is something in it, which is not good for the mindset. There is a beautiful world outside the Anglo-American world, which gets every other Olympics to host as if half the world was English, but you have a very hostile view on this beautiful world outside. If you can't possess it, you hate it.

Then do your own Games. You could invite Australia and Ireland as well and that does it for you.

You have made it very clear that you hate us not just here but in the politics forum, and it is motivated by jealousy xshrug.
And our patriotism is the way America has always been, and the way Britain is now (didnt used to be till this last year or so tbh), and I love that. You should accept us for the way we are.
Non-binding cheerfulness? What the hell is that?? I personally find the way people in the non-Anglo Saxon world go on to be rather strange and not something I like, but that is the way you are and I've got no problem with that, until you start instructing and lecturing us about the way we behave. And most British and (presumably) American people feel the same way as I do.

We do already have our own Games, the Commonwealth Games, and we're hosting that next too, in 2 years in Glasgow :D.

I could make a list of dozens of more successful countries than UK, but I hardly feel as "jealous".....
Just hosted the best Games in history, came third in the medal table - just 9 behind your beautiful Chinese, have the most-spoken language, the most famous person in world history, some of the greatest music and culture, some of the greatest history in the world, are 'Cool Britannia' and are proud of ourselves... same for America too, I dont blame ya for feeling envious :D.
Who would you have at your closing ceremony? Alf Poier most probs...

Oh really, good to hear.... my feelings haven't changed for Britannia because of the games.....

And I am very disappointed that Tom Daley didn't win his so well-earned Gold medal.... I don't like other people for being of a particular nationality, but I guess you are too ignorant to acknowledge... and sorry to say this, I truly believe UK/USA is awfully blessed with ignorance.

If you want to know more about great ceremonies, get yourself a DVD of Lillehammer 1994. But you might be not too interested in it.... :D

MHIY - who's the most famous person ever you're referring to?

Why you supportive of Tom Daley?? He's British you know...
Perhaps you are also jealous of the fact that we're very confident and celebrate our past, maintain all our important traditions, whilst also adapting to the modern world, but not loosing that magical bit of stardust.

I'd hardly call her the most famous person in world history. That would imply everyone in the entire world knows who she is. That's hardly true.
The Queen's face is the most imaged/reproduced in world history, very few people dont know the Queen, however the feel about her. Only in the darkest corners of Africa with no media whatsoever do people not know who the Queen, even then, most of them do due to information passed down the generations from the elders who lived under her rule in the past.

I don't care if he's British. Am I with stupid here? Most likely.

I don't doubt her being the most famous person in the Commonwealth, and those countries who used to belong to the British empire. Her face may be the most reproduced in the world, but most of that stays within the Commonwealth, you know. There's more to the world than what is or used to be under British rule. Outside of the Anglosphere, there are lots of people who don't know what she looks like. She's hardly ever in the media over here, if at all. Diana was way more in the media here than the queen's ever been. I didn't know what she looked like until I visited the UK for the first time when I was 14 and saw her face everywhere on currency, stamps and such. I bet lots of young people here don't even know her name. How many British kids (or adults for that matter) know who the Swedish king and queen are?

Again, the UK and your beloved Queen isn't the center of the world, even if you like to think so.
