It was the worst olympics for Poland 10 medals and only 2 golds It's like a curse we had 10 medals in Athens, 10 in Beijing and 10 now in London... Soon we'll have more medals from winter olympics I'm totally disappointed.

No offense but that is about right for Poland, Poland has never been known as a majorly Olympic nation. It is countries like Australia where the medal tally is surprisingly bad.

Fantastic games for Britain, far beyond my expectations. Would've been nice to get 30 golds in the end but #OurGreatestTeam (ugh) really delivered when it mattered and ended up 3rd. Kudos to all of our athletes! Except the swimmers xnaughty

Congratulations to all those involved in the Olympics, especially the competitors and the volunteers. They did themselves, and us as the hosts, proud.

I live and work in London, and it has been a changed place this past fortnight - people are helpful and friendly - although I don't expect this to last much beyond tomorrow. And I was lucky enough to experience and attend some of the events to experience this first hand. I feel sad that it ends tonight but we have had our turn and it is time to pass this onto the next hosts.

Thank you World for coming to London 2012! It's been a blast.

And best of luck to Rio - cannot wait!

Well I enjoy a lot thorse games, i wasn't expect get at least a Gold Medal for my country - Who generally we don't get anything on your previous games, but i was wrong, England proved to be a good host & nice people..¡¡¡
