Czech Outfit was the Highlight of march of nations. The UK Outfit was a bit awkward with all the Gold (Stefan Raab 2000).
but the sports Outfit of Team GB is a winner!

Ubernervous today. Ireland's 2 greatest medal hopes are in action. In the sailing, Annalise Murphy is effectively level on points with her Chinese, Belgian and Dutch rivals, so she needs to beat all 3 of them to get the gold, and beat at least one of them to win a medal. If she finishes behind those 3, she wins nothing which would be a shame because she was winning the regatta the whole way through :/

In boxing, Katie Taylor has won every world championship available to her and is a serious gold medal contender, but she's up against a British boxer today, and the Brits have an advantage when it comes to scoring from the judges. Obviously if Katie absolutely batters her opponent she will win, but if it's a close fight, her opponent could win on home advantage points because they will want to keep the crowd happy. Although there will be a large Irish crowd there too so the atmosphere will be absolutely electric. And whoever wins is guaranteed a medal, so there's a lot on the line. Good luck Katie and Annalise! :D

so would I. China has won enough medals, youd think theyd let us win just one...

Anyway, Katie Talyor has just smashed Natasha Jonas in the QF. she's made the semi final and we have our 2nd medal. There's no way she cant win gold after that performance! :D :D :D

And another Gold for Great Britain! :D

This is the view in London's Greenwich Park today - I've seen the view from there many times and it's always spectacular, but this is just wow!

Olympic committee of Serbia is a legal successor of the Olympic committee of Yugoslavia, so those medals are added to the overall number of medals of our committee as a result. You can check this on more places. They belong to all ex-yu countries that won them, obviouslyy, but they are counted as "Serbian", because we are the legal successors of both Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro.
link for the first sentence please. I have been googling for this but haven't found any official statement that Serbia is only successor of that comitee (from international olypic comitee). the only thing I have found are information that several successor have been made (even Kosovo is joining in). on official pages of olympic movement (olympic.org) they have only medals from Beijing listed as serbian medals.

in any case, i would be embarassed.
what would u say if Russia took all USSR and CIS medals? would you congrat them on those milion medals?

I dont want to interfere but if Serbia OC is the successor to Yugoslavia OC, then they generally would be considered as inheriting Yugoslavia's medals. It's like Great Britain and Northern Ireland inherits Great Britain and Ireland's medals from before the 1920s, even when particular athletes would today have been considered Irish.

they are a successor, but my question is, where can I find official statement that they are the only successor?
