Too bad Novak lost, but Murray was better yesterday, so he deserved to be in the final. I think Novak wasn't focused enough and he was too defensive. But that's sport. I hope he beats Del Potro now and gets the bronze! :)

Milorad Cavic got 4th position in swimming last night. Fantastic result, even though most of us expected almost a certain medal here. We are all proud of him, and I am sad that he is going to retire now as he really gave a lot to us :( But I think he have already found his successor, and that is Velimir Stjepanovic.

Serbia got another medal today :D This is our 100th medal, and it was brought to us yet again in the shooting discipline by Ivana Maksimovic :D Just like in Zlatic's case, nobody expected these two medals in shooting :D

I am so proud of Ivana, she totally deserved it :)

Hopefully Novak will get the bronze tomorrow and maybe Mikec or Zlatic again could surprise (again) and get another medal. Both of them are considered as darkhorses.

Our water polo team is surely aiming for the gold. :D We are terrorizing all of our rivals, and the USA have suffered their first defeat tonight. We beated them with 11:5.

Finally, first gold for us. Miroslava Knapková managed to win the final of women's single skiff even though she was injured, so biiig kudos to her! :)¨
And we also have bronze in shooting from Adéla Sýkorová :)
Hopefully, our tennis players can beat sisters Williams tomorrow and get that gold! :)

Another brilliant day for Great Britain, Jessica Ennis has just got our latest gold, solidifying our 3rd place for the time being :D. She's broken a British and Commonwealth record in the process!
Living legend Michael Phelps has just retired too, of course ending with a Gold - never cheered on a foreign team as much . Sooo happy for him! xheart

yugoslavian medals aren't serbian. I would be embarrased to claim medals from Macedonia (for example) as ours.

2. ::na China - 25 / 16 / 12 = 53
3. :uk: Great Britain - 14 / 7 / 8 = 29
4. :kr: South Korea - 9 / 3 / 5 = 17
5. :fr: France - 8 / 6 / 8 = 22

I am not the person who invented this, you know ;)

Olympic committee of Serbia is a legal successor of the Olympic committee of Yugoslavia, so those medals are added to the overall number of medals of our committee as a result. You can check this on more places. They belong to all ex-yu countries that won them, obviouslyy, but they are counted as "Serbian", because we are the legal successors of both Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro.

We are not taking anything apart from what does belong to us, and, by law, these medals do belong to a committee who is a legal successor of the previous one, and you can post 100 smilies rolling on the floor laughing but those are the facts . If your committee was a legal successor, you would've had those medals. That simple, and not fuzzy. Sadly, your story of "nasty Serbia stealing the medals" doesn't function in real world.

But now, it is a different thing whether this should be done this way. If you ask me, it shouldn't, but since it is, than those medals are counted as Serbian, or in other words, they belong to a committee who is a legal successor of the Olympic committee of Yugoslavia under which these medals were won.

Oh, and, for the record, if anybody else was a legal successor and had those medals instead of us - I personally wouldn't have a single problem with it. But since you do, that is not an issue I can solve here ;)

^^ The chances of that happening are sadly below 1%

The female volleyball team is a terrible disappointment. The biggest so far. This is a clean debacle what they are doing.

When's the match btw ? I'll watch it. Do us a favor  otherwise we'll have to beat the US, which is impossible...
