You get invited, as always with convos. I weren't there myself for the odds-making this edition but for most other editions it has just worked out that way .

It's what you think the likelihood of each song qualifying is i.e. high = very likely to qual, low = hardly any chance

So why do odds show likelihood of winning the semi? Those are slightly different things - there are songs which are sure qualifiers, but lack sth to win and songs, which are big unknowns and thus can fail in semi as wel as win it.

These odds are just showing qualification, there's nothing about winning, that's for the the final The only reason there are rankings and all that in the semi odds is because the ones at the top are more likely to qualify (almost certain) than, say, a song in 11th place

Actually while they should show the chance to qualify from semi, I know that some people are predicting the likelihood of winning. That means the odds don't predict either the winning or qualification chance, but something between the 2. (which is kinda weird and boog)

Sean, I'm not sure if you know how odds work in real. Odd X means that you get X times more than you bet, if the betted case happens. It means odds for qualification should vary from 1,2 for favourites to about 5 for outsiders. In semi predictions above, we can see them varying from 5 to 150.

To sum up: some people predict winner, others predict qualifiers, we get winner odds and everyoby claim they're for qualification... Let me facepalm it
