Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
See where you're going, but I don’t know where you've been
Is that saliva or blood drippin' off your chin?
If you don’t like the name Keith I'ma call you Jim
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf (Banana)

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Banana

I like the scent of every meal on your breath
That hunger in you, I'm in danger now, I guess
Let's go to grandma's, you say grandma tastes the best
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf
Someone give that wolf a banana

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na
Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
Someone give that wolf a banana
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wo-o-olf

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith

Huh. The lyrics are really awful, and I don't really understand the meaning...
The music is also not really my cup of tea.
But I'm interested to see how this will perform, although I don't understand (yet) what people could see in this song.

Makes me wonder how many Furries there are in Europe who will vote for this because it turns them on.
The concept is certainly original, the lyrics are funny and the song is catchy.
They are bringing the craziness Eurovision is known for to the stage this year. It shouldn't be all about that but it's a valued addition in small doses.
12 points for being entertaining and the original concept.

It looks like these wolves are from Springfield.

"Let's go to grandma's, you say grandma tastes the best". What a delightfully callous lyric to drop in there.

The wolf may be hungry but I get the distinct feeling someone else is rather thirsty.

I don't really understand the meaning.

There is an explanation for the lyrics over on Wiwibloggs. In short, the song is based loosely on The Red Riding Hood.

However, this explanation still cannot make me NOT think, that it might have undertones of gerontophilia and Grindr culture, probably. It's up to you whether you'd think they want to give the wolves a banana or THE 'banana', or whether they try to tell the story from Red Hood's perspective, or from the wolves' perspective.

Many recognize the strength of "Give That Wolf a Banana" but at the same time, it seems strange to say, they underestimate it. For me, the Subwoolfer (nice name!) have brought one of the most beautiful joke entries seen so far to the Eurovision Song Contest. When I listen to music or watch the official video, I travel with the mind. It seems to me that I am living together with the Subwoolfer a nice adventure in space up to Norway. the powerful sound and an excellent choreography involve you and... when the drum roll arrives and the silhouettes of the two wolves and bananas dance... who hasn't felt a similarity to the Egyptian hieroglyphs? 😃 The choice of exploiting the idea of the "masked singer" is also very original because it fully exploits the potential of masks. As an Italian, I say that Gabbani was unable to exploit the expressive power of the dancing naked monkey (indeed, the stage performance at Eurovision was worse than in Sanremo). Top 10 clear as the sun and... beware! Norway want to try to win this year! Never underestimate the sleeping wolf or... was it the dog? 🤔😄

I do like myself a good joke entry, and this is... a decent-enough one?

It somehow feels overproduced (too calculating?) and underproduced (not epic enough?) at the same time, and the live performance seems lacking both vocally and in terms of staging. I want this kind of song to really go all-out in its staging, yet in the NF performance the bridge section in particular feels like a lot of wasted potential.

But despite that, it's fun, catchy, and novel, plus gimmicky enough to get my interest while not being *so* gimmicky as to start irritating me after a few listens. Perhaps this would usually be a 7 from me, but given I'm not a huge fan of this year so far I want to be a little kinder; let's go with a low 8 for now. Might downgrade it later if I get some proper quality entries to enjoy over the coming month
I do agree

I wish we could have more "joke" or "fun" entries every year with some of them being real good and fun with a nice song like Verka
but this is going nowhere, it's like fun but not fun enough and it's like a joke but not enough, and the song is good but not greate. It's very middle of the road in each category. But they're gonna qualify for sure and maybe they can amp it up in the esc stage to bring what it's missing right now.

I love this entry. I found the national final performance great already, but I think this is gonna be even better on the big stage in Turin. The entire package is just there.

Usually novelty songs in the contest tend to flop because performers kinda fail to realize that they have to have a decent song at its core, but this one does it so well and it's a supremely catch dance track. Very hard not to like, certainly top 3 for me. :12:

Only a few countries are still to release their entries, and I see Subwoolfer as the stand out song among the top 10 favourites.

It's not my kind of genre, really, but I don't really see any interesting alternatives so far. It feels sort of like last year where the winner was a (massive) stand out song because none of the other top contenders didn't quite have it.

I don´t dislike this act the way many other folks do.

However, while many people consider this to be a "0 points" or "12 points" type of entry, for me its simply somewhere in the middle.
It didn´t give me any "BOOM" effect.

The sound production and stage show are on point, but the techno track doesn´t make me turn up when that beat drop happens.
Not as catchy or contagious that I thought it would be. I prefer the verses with guitar accompaniment before the chorus.

Overall, this entry does do some things for me but not completely: some things I enjoy and some are kind of meh.

Final verdict: :5: points!

Real talk: While I don´t dislike this, I would be upset if this scores better than Keiino.
