Well this MGP was REALLY shit, let's celebrate its END by rant-ranking it impromptu

01. Maria Mohn - "Fly" - It's really difficult to decide a fave here but I was HERE for Maria's new age dramatic balladeering and potential redemption arc, until it was woefully cut short when she failed to reach the superfinal.
02. Daniel Lucas - "Kvelertak" - An emotionally intelligent and utterly gut-wrenching synthpop pearl, so of course it was woefully robbed the same crowed that voted TrollfesT into the Second Chance Round.
03. Oda Gondrosen - "Hammer of Thor" - Hilarious meme queen with an iconic performance
04. Kim Wigaard - "La Melodia" - Hilarious meme king with an iconic performance
05. Elsie Bay - "Death of Us" - It's perversely amusing that NRK rigs this entire MGP for Elsie and then she fails to make the superfinal because NRK suck! Still a lovely ballad though.
06. Eline Noelia - "Ecstacy" - It is truly sad that the BIGGEST revelation of this MGP is an also-ran from the first heat who'll be forgotten about forevermore.
07. Subwoolfer - "Give that wolf a banana" - This calculated affair isn't nearly as fun or funny as advertized but it's serviceable enough as a party anthem, I guess. PS: They're Ben Adams and Gaute Ormåsen with JOWST as DJ Astronaut you can now STOP pretending this mystery is anywhere near interesting, kthx.
08. Anna-Lisa Kumoji - "Queen bees" - An Iconic trainwreck. The tempo shift that outpaces its own nightcore! The whacky lyrics! The WASP costumes!! Song's kinda shit though.
09. Mari Bolla - "Your loss" - A decent attempt at soft rock, a pity Mari suffers from USF ("Unfortunate Singing Face")
10. Sofie Fellvjang - "Made of glass" - She seems nice.
11. Frode Vassel - "Black flowers" - I know PROMISED I'd rank Frode in green for slaying TrollfesT but they got through to the Second Chance Round anyway so DEAL'S OFF!!! Somewhere in Latvia the Supernova casting director is still waiting for "Black Flowers" to show up for its audition.
12. Mira Craig - "We still here" - Somehow resembled an actual flamingo more than the eejits in flamingo costumes.
13. Sturla - "Skår i hjertet" - Is a metallurgist irl? Had a really weird microphone stand? Idk.
14. Alexandra Joner - "Hasta la vista" - I would LOATHE this if this were Alvaro Estrella and if it won its first duel, but neither of those things came to be so sure, enjoy yellow status I guess.
15. Lily Löwe - "Bad Baby" - Earns Red, Red baby (OHHHH) for being THE disappointment of the season, delivering BAD vocals, BAD staging and BAD styling. That said, it's really gross that she was beaten in her duel by...
16. Steffen Jakobsen - "With me tonight" - This marble-mouthed foobum can't sing and has as much charisma as the roadkill ingrained on a Californian highway. WHY do you sing in a twang? Are you not aware that it's an accent, not a singing style?
17. Farida - "Dangerous" - ENOUGH with the mousy wenches in baggy clothing declaring how d a n g e r o u s they are without a single semblance of a threat. You're fooling NOBODY.
18. VILDE - "Titans" - I try to put together this post, come up with 20 names very quickly and then spend the livespan of a Galapagos tortoise thinking of who the last person is. STOP BEING A TIMEWASTE WITH LISA AJAX-ESQUE BULL NOBODY LIKES. (except for that one crummy German dude with horrible taste)
19. Christian Ingebrigtsen - "Wonder of the world" - As BAD as "Wonder of the world" was, Christian is at least a charismatic performer? Which is something you CANNOT say about:
20. NorthKid - "Someone" - One of the most baffling instances of fangirling i've witnessed tbh. They're homely, they have ZERO charisma, their song is a moody meandering stalker ballad with a painfully generic chorus? I almost WISH they won because they would have NQ'd and that WOULD have been a sweet sight to behold.

Nope. Like I said (in the post above yours), they're likely Ben Adams (from A1, the same group Christian was in) and Gaute Ormåsen whom I believe was the Idol runner-up to the hobbit that won World Idol.

The *act* certainly is Ylvis-inspired though. (but thankfully better as What Does The Fox Say turned annoying very quickly)
