Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
See where you're going, but I don’t know where you've been
Is that saliva or blood drippin' off your chin?
If you don’t like the name Keith I'ma call you Jim
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf (Banana)

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Banana

I like the scent of every meal on your breath
That hunger in you, I'm in danger now, I guess
Let's go to grandma's, you say grandma tastes the best
Oh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wolf
Someone give that wolf a banana

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na
Ba-na-na
Ba-na-na-na-na

And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
(I want your grandma, yum, yum)
Someone give that wolf a banana
And before that wolf eats my grandma
Give that wolf a banana
Give that wolf
Give that wo-o-olf

Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana
Yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum-yum-yum
Someone give that wolf a banana

Not sure I told you, but I really like your teeth
That hairy coat of yours with nothing underneath
Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith

"I can call you Betty, and Betty, when you call me, you can call me Al, call me Al"
People go: Ooh, Simon and Garfunkel, wow, pure art!

"Not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith"
People go: It's a joke act.

The beat is nice, the song could be trending on Tiktok at any second. I'm still in awe on how Norway is convinced to choose a song that sarcastically talks about gerontophilia and gay jokes altogether, from the way those lyrics are written.

Probably a :5:, maybe higher later on.

How anyone can compare them to TheRoop is beyond me. The Roop didn't desperatly try to become a meme or viral sensation on TikTok.

People go: It's a joke act.
Maybe it's because of this part:

"Yum yum yum, yum yum yum yum yum yum,
Yum yum yum yum yum yum.
Ooh
Yum yum yum, yum yum yum yum yum yum,
Yum yum yum yum yum yum
Someone give that wolf a banana!"

That's definitely more interesting than Kim Wigaard's
"La-la-la
La-la-la, la-la
La-la"

Or even Simon and Garfunkel's
"Na na na na, na na na na
Na na na na, na na na-na na-na
Na na na na, na-na na-na na na
Na na na na, na na na na"

Don't forget about the context of these onomatopoeias, however.

I didn't follow MGP too closely, after the pain I felt last year getting too invested in KEiiNO and following the competition very closely. So I only previously listened to snippets and the full version of Subwoolfer's and Elsie Bay's songs, both of which I very much enjoyed. I also didn't manage to watch the whole final, only managing to watch the Gold Final. When NorthKid were on and kept talking about them being from the North, I could tell that they were fishing for the regional votes and it worked even better than I anticipated. I am very happy that Subwoolfer won though, because that song was just a lot better than Northkids, although Elsie Bay was better than North Kid too.
I really like the song, yes the lyrics are very weird, but I strangely love it, like I'm not usually the kind of person to appreciate a joke entry, but I also wouldn't really classify this as a joke entry. Ultimately, to me its a very fun song, I can't help but smile and its a bop, I love it and I hope Norway get a great result in Turin. This could do really well with the televote, with the risk being that a lot of people could be confused or turned off by the fact that you cannot see their microphones or them singing, and thinking its just a dance performance. The Jury will likely not appreciate this, however I also don't see them blanking this completely, because it is very modern and could be seen as radio friendly, so I would not discount this from pulling a surprise and doing decently with the juries.
Ultimately, I really love this, my 2nd place for now and therefore it gets my :12: !

Catchiest song of this year so far for me. There is a very thin line between being "fun" and cringey and Subwoolfer luckily manage to stay on the fun side - someone here mentioned they take themselves too seriously but I really don't see that - everything from the lyrics to the image is silly and it works well. I wouldn't like Eurovision filled mostly with songs of this type but we need at least a few entries like this ever year. I've had the song on repeat for a long time, it's a good EDM track with enough stuff going on to not become too repetitive and boring. I think the staging and their dance routine is well executed and have no doubts about this doing very well in the televote, probably not as well as KEiiNO did but for sure a top 5. Especially this year which is shaping up to be pretty underwhelming.

Eh, I don't really like the song, it leaves me cold but the performance in the final was great. I don't know what did they changed compared to the semi but this one felt less boring and more engaging.

It is an almost sure qualifier, since it is a well made "joke entry" and it has a lot of fans, so I guess the general public will like it, however in the final I don't see them finishing too high, maybe a 10th place at best if the final is weak.

Give that wolf 5 pts.

Not a big fan of the song and the lyrics. A fun entry but nothing more than that. Also the fact you can't see anyone singing is a big turn off for me.

This is most definitely YLVIS

I’m not opposed to joke entries, but this one emanates the lolsorandom humor from early YouTube that ended right around when “What Does the Fox Say” came out.

I don’t think I “hate it,” definitely not. It was the most polished performance of the entirety of MGP and the best winner from last night.

NRK should hide their bias a little better. This one stood out by a country mile, and the massive party-like reprise felt like a massive sigh of relief, like NRK bet the whole farm on them or something.
