Latvia's song is terrible. I'm sure it will get lots of televotes for the joke but the song just sounds like your average bottom of the barrel in a semi-final 2010 or something. Subwoolfer's song isn't just silly but it also has a cool rhytm and a beat

GOD I'm just venting now, but I was considering flying over to Italy to go to Turin for Eurovision, but given today's choices I'm seriously considering whether it will be worth it. I've been watching Eurovision since 2012 and this is the first year that I've genuinely felt that it is a 'weak year' (even 2013 and 2017 seemed decent at the time). I'm sure Eurovision would be an amazing experience but there's not one song so far that I actually want to see in person.

It is not a clear top 10 entry, but I like it. One of the better entries so far. I give 7 points.
I dont like them wearing masks though, it doesnt seem they are singing, it looks like a dance performance.

I gotta say, I'm shocked. I was initially torn between Subwoolfer and Daniel Lukas on who my MGP favorite was this year, so when Daniel was knocked out in the first program, it was an easy choice. But I never thought the rest of Norway would agree with me. An MGP winner I can fully support, which is nice after 2 winners I didn't like.
