No, she is not. She resigned after Wien. It's now Jan Fredrik Karlsen. An artist-manager. I find him quite annoying as a person - but I guess he is good at what he is doing...

100% agree about that. It could be good that Nrk choise him, but without big names he could easy be seen like a flop

It will all depend on the quality of the songs AND of the singers. These last years there has been some really aweful vocals in the norwegian finals...

I'll be happy as long as Norway's lineup does its usual thing - nine or ten kinda decent songs and one amazing one that challenges to be my favourite of the year (I Feed You My Love, Silent Storm, En Godt Stekt Pizza). Looking forward to the reveal!

Weak year of MGP. I don't think there's a winning song here. Also, is it the MGP year of look-a-like songs?

Suite 16 - «Anna Lee» - Boring One Direction wanna be song. Dull
Stine Hole Ulla - «Traces» - I've heard it twice and all that came in my mind was Olivia Newton-John and her ballad songs. Meh!
Stage Dolls - «Into the Fire» - I think it's something that Denmark used to send. Brinck, A Friend in London, Anti Social Media and so on. I don't like it
Elouiz - «History» - She tries, but I deny... Ir's a weak song!
Freddy Kalas - «Happy Rush» - Nope.
Makeda - «Stand Up» - ANOTHER Meghan Trainor? NOPE

Nothing's really caught me in the same way as the snippets from the last three years did; it might be time, unfortunately, for Norway to drop back out of the top 10 unless the full versions impress. Afterglow has potential, though, and I'm curious to hear the full versions of Happy Rush and Laika.

Freddy Kalas in MGP is incredible (and something I predicted a long time ago)

He had 2015 biggest summer and christmas hit. + He is someone that now all types of people enjoy, so everyone that will vote in MGP will have some kind of relationship with him (Even if they dont like him).
I think this will give him a huge advantage in the final and I am excited to hear the whole song.

Also looking forward to hearing Suite 16´s new song, because they are one of my guilty pleasure boybands

His snippet sounded the worst of the lot, if the whole song is like that, Norway would disgrace themselves by sending that.
