Yeah they can obviously sing it in any manner they want and bring backing vocalists if their delegation sees fit but the arrangement itself has been locked in since mid march so no strings which is a shameAccording to AVROTROS, they will be using the version in higher key in Liverpool without breaking any EBU rules apparently.
It won't be the acoustic version as presented in the television show yesterday obviously though
Yes but the Spanish and British versions that we heard at Eurovision were submitted before the HoD meeting it just was not publicly known about all I was saying is that the acoustic version with the additional strings would not be possible to do at eurovision so problems still remain obviously the key change is fineI don't see why EBU will have an issue with an altered version of the song. Plus, it's just a key change. Not like it's a complete change of lyrics or brand new melody. So many countries have presented edited versions of the songs (I mean see UK, Spain last year) just for the ESC performance. They just need to practise and rehearse more to get their voices to mesh and sing in tune.
Yes, that's what I heard as well. The piano strings were just for that performance specifically.According to AVROTROS, they will be using the version in higher key in Liverpool without breaking any EBU rules apparently.

Why is the production that bad according to you ? I'm really trying to understand as hard as I can, nothing jumped out at me, but I see a lot of people doubting of them qualifyingIt‘s not even Mia‘s & Dion‘s fault. People write bad voices, no chemistry… I didn’t felt that way. Yeah, the voices needed a little improvement technically (but I like the tone) but what really killed their chances is the incredible bad production quality. Whoever was the producer (Duncan? Or someone else? They themselves?) should be fired. He or she ruined a potentially good song.
