For me, Luxembourg will present itself with a solid ballad in French that will be greeted with inexplicable emotion by the fans, as if the song itself explains the meaning of life and has an eschatological value. The result will be a guaranteed Top 10 (high jury vote; help from the Belgium-Netherlands bloc (Benelux); help from the French-speaking bloc France and Switzerland; friendly vote from Germany; vote from the rest of the world mainly coming from the former French-speaking African colonies). There will be a "Gualazzi effect": the enthusiasm of the novelty colliding with a motivational plan (so that the rich Luxembourg can remain in the singing competition).

The song is more likely to be in English than in French. Luxembourg is really not 'French' anymore when it comes to music. (And RTL Luxembourg is no longer 'orchestrated' by RTL in France). So anyone hoping for a typical Frenchy ballad is likely going to be disappointed.
It would be really fun if Luxembourg entered with a song in German for once - That would be something of a shocker

We are desperately in need of some German at Eurovision - The last German phrase was "Damen und Herren und diejenigen, die sich nicht entscheiden möchten...DaSSSS warSSSS mit I Don't Feel Hate" :D

I successfully erased the memory of this embarrassment until I read that, now it´s haunting me again. xwall

Josh Island who applied to represent Luxembourg just released a new song:

Personally, I think it sounds alright/professional and I like his voice a lot!

The song was co-produced by Guy Chambers (who worked with Robbie Williams, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Melanie C and more!)

You can actually hear that Guy Chambers is involved.

That's incredibly huge!

Given the fact that Luxembourgish citizens or residents have to be involved, I think that we can say that the demand is huge!

In the Netehrlands, 600 songs got submitted. Just compare those numbers Oo

Well done, Luxembourg
