so jealous. I was able to get to the 2nd semi preview. which is also cool. i will need to hear your pointers on how to get the best spot in the audience after you are done lolI'm really intrigued as to the reaction to the ending. I could be wrong, and it might well be an advantage. I do so hope as I would like it go through.
I'm in the audience for the SF preview, and am looking forward to seeing these guys perform!
Really? I think his pronounciation for a non native English speaker is really good personallySuch a sweet song. But I need to listen very carefully, if I want to understand what he sings
It gets better, but I needed to concentrate at the beginning. I thought he was singing in Latvian at the startReally? I think his pronounciation for a non native English speaker is really good personally
never felt like this in the recent years of eurovision. first time the song I liked the most is on the edge of whether qualifying or not.
Me too I have never felt this way, its probably because Latvia has only qualified twice in fourteen yearsnever felt like this in the recent years of eurovision. first time the song I liked the most is on the edge of whether qualifying or not.
I totally feel you. Never felt so worried about an entry before. Usually my favorites are fairly safe. But I believe there's still hope, if people who love this come together.never felt like this in the recent years of eurovision. first time the song I liked the most is on the edge of whether qualifying or not.
I think it might qualify, hope hasn't been lost IMO.they are radio friendly
they are AMAZING live, the energy exchange between them and excited crowd is electric (just look at Polish pre-party)
they are a high quality representative for the genre.
Idk, for some reason as we get closer I'm less and less worried.
Also, I refuse to even think about thinking about my reaction to their NQ. All I see in my mind's eye on the 9th is me jumping up and down spilling whatever's left of my drink on equally excited people around me (I should probably get a beer or a transparent cocktail, so I don't stain any clothes: mine or anyone else's )
Hot take: Serbia is not a lock. Especially if Luke is more like he was in the pre-parties. It's one thing to be psychedelic and weird, when it's polished and well sung... if it's a hot mess, it's not appealing. You can be a hot mess in a silly pop song (see: Solo lol), but not in smth like this. Esp if you have Latvia and Portugal following you, who we know will be close to perfect in their genre live. And then you have a weird crazy but polished performance from Finland to satiate that type of hunger at the end.I think it might qualify, hope hasn't been lost IMO.
In SF1, I think Azerbaijan and Ireland are dead on arrival.
I sense no buzz around Switzerland either and still see it as a NQ. Maybe NL will NQ and Switz Q instead if the Dutch vocals are horrendous, but I have a feeling that Mia and Dion will do enough on the night to qualify.
So the final 2 NQs are between, I believe, Croatia, Malta and Latvia.
I'm still not convinced Croatia will qualify, which seems to be a minority view at this stage.
Then one of Malta or Latvia could qualify.
Konstrakta's performance was avant garde but infinity more accessible than Luke's will be and I dont see many people taking that into account that and the fact that there are two less exyugos in the contestHot take: Serbia is not a lock. even croatia nor moldova is not lock. both of them have their counterpart/competition on such demographic, finland and portugal respectively. my own hot take is: I don't need israel in grand finals.Hot take: Serbia is not a lock
I'd certainly prefer Latvia over Israel going through to the GF.even croatia nor moldova is not lock. both of them have their counterpart/competition on such demographic, finland and portugal respectively. my own hot take is: I don't need israel in grand finals.
it's just a lot of people seem to be sure in Serbia, when the only safe ones seem to be Sweden, Finland, and Norway.even croatia nor moldova is not lock. both of them have their counterpart/competition on such demographic, finland and portugal respectively. my own hot take is: I don't need israel in grand finals.
A lot of people were sure on Albania last year ( no idea why) and look how that turned outit's just a lot of people seem to be sure in Serbia,
