GOSH how much I love 2012 Latvian entry Anmary - "Beautiful song", they will never send again smth as AMAZING, pity she opted for normal performance in ESC (i stil like it), but she should go with weird performance from the NF! It could qualify then, cause she sang AWESOME live!

"Beautiful song" was cute, but I wouldn't really call it "good" though...

Latvia tend to make wrong decisions regarding their performances, Aisha should have went with the performance from the local selection instead aswell... that was way more fitting to the entry and more interesting.

Somebody pointed out to me last night that PeR placed third in their semi last year. Did you think something predictable or logical might happen in a NF in the Baltics?

Still, I hope that if the public goes for the act that looks the most fun on stage, Saule Riet will be it.

Everyone say that, but then again what song is truly original? We got atleast two MF wannabes (one sounding like "Shout it Out"), then we got an Avril wannabe... things we've got in ESC 1000x times already.

In the end of the day, making something 100% original is hard, but the whole dance/folk thing and the Latvian in it will make it stand out in ESC I'm sure...
